  Geoffrey Jackson's Golden Apple watch INVESTIGATED

  i went through the original footage to get a good look at the watch.. from these pictures we can probably say that it is a apple watch and that it has a golden color.

  the color on the pin is black, and the band is white, grey, silvery or beige.. .

  the pin is in the exact place for it to be a apple watch.. only apple watch edition have the gold color.

  A religion or OCPD?

  i came across this paragraph about the causes of ocpd and it occurred to me that jws as a religion do reward ocpd traits.

  they insist you adhere to rules and behaviours to the impairment of social and family activities.

  perfectionism, strict moral code, lack of generosity.. so does this religion cause this personality disorder or does it recruit people who suffer from it?.

  I find many here find it easy to blame the wts for just about all and any of their problems

  But the reality is that plenty of people who've never associated with jw's have these same problems

  I'm not saying their claim is false but just blaming jw's for your problems will do nothing for you or anyone else. Lots of jw's are perfectly happy being jw's, lots of catholics and atheists are perfectly happy in their life, and plenty of all these are unhappy. If you want to be happy then choose to be happy, don't waste your life pointing fingers at everyone but yourself

  which i truly do respect because my girlfriend is part of but i just don't understand, i have researched so much about it.

  so much about how its discouraged for her to be with me just cause of different religion.

  jws are good ppl and its not a "filfthy cult" like the kingston order or hale bop but having said that, it is a cult mindset with plenty of double think and cult speak

  her beliefs will ALWAYS trump yours. you WILL sacrifice your wants for hers

  kids will be taught at the kingdom hall that tou will due at armageddon along with your family for not being JWs

  jws will be SUPER nice to you, and some will genuinely like you, but it will be limited to "encouraging" you to become a JW

  one thing that is rarely discussed here is the intimacey between husband and wife that comes from sharing goals, talking openly about where we are and where we are going, being philisophical with each other, learning to be happy together as a team. this is virtually if not completely impossible when one mate is a jw. the answer to every question or inquiry will always be a prepared paraphrase of watchtower rhetoric. she wont go "deep" with you or share innermost thoughts because she will suppress those thoughts or not have them at all because jws allow the watchtower/GB to do the thinking for them.

  jw "happiness" comes solely from dutifully completing their GB sanctioned routine each week, a routine you wont share or want.

  it will be very difficult to be deeply happy in your relationship unless you become a jw with her. but then you get all the baggage that comes with that and cutting out your own familiy

  where have the demons gone?

  does anybody remember some of the sensational demon stories jw's would tell back in the day?

  i was a kid in the early 80's and i remember a few times hearing of people having real life encounters with demons.

  for example, one sister claimed that before she became a jdub she would regularly talk to demons and they would even fix stuff like her washing machine!

  ah yes the demons!

  all those pesky demons in backwords lyrics on vinyl (all vanished with CD's)

  and "demon attacks"! not possession just "attacks" (all left once sleep paralysis was documented)

  and of course hitching rides on garage sale trinkets, of course my affordanle old home and used car arent possessed just your coffee mug and old blanket from down the street

  i once asked a jw what his family was doing in secret that brought so many demons into their lives? that shut him up

  in all the years ive been coming here ive read countless experiences like yours. you are going through the classic new ex-jw issues

  your post was great, spot on about being "comfortable"

  keep getting friends, get involved in your community, talk to ppl at the gym, take walks around your neighborhood, youll discover that feeling of community that you miss

  i just read a thread somewhere on here that someone has been accepted to bethel service along with his wife.

  his wife has, of course, been assigned to work in the laundry room.

  which compels me to write this little post.. now, i dont consider myself a "feminist" as such, but i definitely believe in equality.

  the issue of whether beards are acceptable or not is addressed in the september 2016 watchtower - well sort of.

  it is as clear as mud as to whether they are allowed in places like australia, usa and britain.. 17. what are some factors that may affect whether a brother wears a beard?17 what about the propriety of brothers wearing a beard?

  i heard today about a former jw/now apostate who is dying in hospital.

  this information was accompanied by the comment of "wouldn't be awful to be lying there in hospital,dying as an apostate!
