i'm on page 90 right now...the info is definitely new and gives me a totally diff view as to how i used to think of faithful and discreet slave.

i was thoroughly disgusted with the way the brothers handled the oral sex and leadership problem and the insight on the scriptures book...... still have alot of questions though.

i've noticed that alot of the comments have nothing to do with God.....Have u became bitter? Not bitter, just many of us our past needing someone or something to pat us on the back and validate our existence

do u all still believe in God? How do u worship Him if at all?- many here still do, I personally don't believe in a god of any religion. My investigation into the WTS lead me to an objective examination of religion and god. I am happy to accept and fully believe that there is no true religion - without a doubt in my mind I believe this. If there is something out there bigger than humans we've never found it in any religion. Religion is about rules and control, not spirituality.

Have u found Jehovah's true followers if not witnesses? there are no TRUE followers of Jehovah. JW's like to laugh at people that search for meaning in life - ie: "find themselves". As far as I am concerned this is the only journey that any person can take that transcends our physical existence (eating, sleeping, sex). I repeat - religion has absolutely nothing to do with spirituality or existential enlightenment

Do u feel at peace with God? Are u happy? Do u have any doubt that u made the right decision? I am at total peace. I am happy that I know the truth about the WTS and god. I know my decision to not obey or be controlled by the WTS is 100% right

If this is not the truth then why are some of u still 'fading'? why condone untruth? because we will lose our entire family and freinds to a lie if we walk cold turkey. For many (myself included) a big part of meaning in our lives is our releationships. This is extremely difficult for one to abondon. The WTS knows this and thus why they use disfellowshipping as a way to force the R&F to keep obeying

Would God be happy if this isn't the truth and yet u still atempt to condone and fade? If god existed, maybe not. But again, religion is not about any connection with God. Individuals can find 'god' in themselves regardless of what church roster their name is on. Can a christian live in a country that is by fiat expressely muslim? does that conflict with their faith or must they move out of the muslim country to a christian one?

what is dumb are theists mocking science for not having all the answers to the origins of life while at the same time saying that God has always existed with no beginning and no end, he was never created but exists and it is beyond the scope of our tiny brains to understand how.

How is that a better argument?

Oh I know, because theists are right until everyone else proves them wrong even though they themselves have no proof at all - just an old book written by gnostics, compiled by Pagan's, and forced upon the masses lest ye' be burned at the stake.

We are forgetting one thing:

EVERYTHING IN THIS VIDEO HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE JW's PROHIBITION ON BLOOD

JW's don't refuse blood for any other reason than they think God told them too. All this crap about cancer this, and Hep-C that is a side show distraction.

Since when do JW's listen to what Dr.'s think about blood? Oh, so "this dr. says blood transfusions are dangerous so there you have it! We've been right all along!" What about the 10,000 other dr's that say blood transfusion saves lives?

All of these risks exist with organ transplants but these are ok for JW's because it's not about the "risks", it's about the WTS telling them God said not to take blood transfusions or else God will kill you at Armageddon.

THAT'S IT!!!!!!!!

We need to stop validating JW "Dr." talk when on this topic. If a JW starts up on Dr talk END IT! Tell them flat out it has nothing to do with why they refuse blood and to stop wasting their breath on Dr. talk. MAKE THEM PROVE IT FROM THE BIBLE and then show them 1 Samuel 14:31-35

i'm trying to put everything together along with my watchtower library----things are sooo not adding up,nothing is mentioned in the library except the announcement that he's no longer a member....who'd have thunk that this is what i'd be doing after a long morning preaching....

This was very tumultuous for me too. You'll find there is more corellating information in the Proclaimer's book than anywhere else - it's all over the place though so you need to jump around a lot. I think this was intentional, if they had put all the Russell, Rutherford, Franz dilemas in chronological order it would trigger a lot more JW's to start thinking about the reality of the WTS's past.

Just keep going, you will find that CofC is a completely honest publication, in fact you will develop a real respect for Ray Franz and what he did. Many of us as JW's were trained to hate Ray Franz and feel disgust toward what he did. This is completely undeserved.

I was fortunate enought to correspond with Ray Franz before he died and thank him for all he has done in helping so many people. If you like I can share some of this with you privately in a PM

I wish you all the best on your journey. Trust me, so many things are going to make perfect sense real fast - all those unanswered questions in the back of your mind will instantly vanish - becuase they will ALL be answered. It's amazing

If you want to comment about the topic, fine - but if you want to completely derail a thread by using it as a platform for a 6000 word essay on how to misapply scriptures to calculate what day next week the end is coming - again - then that is not cool.
