  welcome to the board you've gotten some great advice so far. i just wanted to let you know, i know what you are going thru. when i da'd 9 years ago, i was so afraid of being alone, and very sad about the strained relationship with my parents and siblings. but things eventually settled down, life went on...as it will with you. the key is to learn as much as you can. really start to think for yourself. investigate, read, search for your own truth. that is what helped me the most, just gaining knowledge and questioning everything i had known growing up. we are here for you. you can vent, laugh, cry, shout out for joy here

  The Last Days in the 14th Century

  the last days in the 14th century .

  all through recorded history there have been people who have pointed to the calamities, horrors and disasters in the world, and preached that this signified an imminent end of the world.

  this isnt even unique to christianity, which started off with strong millennial expectations in the 1st century, and for the most part retains the same expectations almost 2000 years later.

  ExJW's Make Better Lovers?

  i don't mean in general, i mean for exjw's... is there a noticable advantage to pairing with someone with the same background?

  i'd like to read your thoughts and experiences on this subject.. i've been romantically involved few times, since "the light got brighter" for me about the organization, with people who didn't know anything about jw's before meeting me.

  one of them viewed my exjw activity as a bit obsessive but okay as long as she got to obsess on her favorite obesssions, too.

  comf, thanks for posting this! i too have been wondering about exjw's as lovers, since i am recently single as well. i've never been with a jw or an xjw and am curious what others have to say on this topic i do know that i enjoy talking with xjws since i never have to explain any of the wacky jw rules i was forced to live by growing up. at least most of my worldly b/fs have been nice enough to (well, at least pretend to) listen to me when i would talk about jw stuff. so if/when i ever hook up with an xjw, i'll be sure to send you a full report with pics lololol
