  Have you met anyone on the Governing Body?

  i posted on another thread about a couple of my experiences of meeting the governing body while i was in brooklyn.

  i wanted to see if anyone else had any experiences along these same lines.

  i met most of the ones that were current during the 2001-2003 years.

  attending an invite (strange we're invited but hoping to make it worth my while) but i don't want to suffer big consequences as i've already said enough wrong stuff.

  i'm stuck reading hassan's ccmc book (about half way --- just don't have time and not into it).

  Joe La Flamme 9:28am Apr 1 Just a quick note to let you all know that I am deleting myself from this group. It has been fun, but I have decided to re-marry my first wife. She is still a JW, so I will have to become one again. Maybe they are right, or maybe not. Life is a gamble any way. So good luck to you all. Perhaps we shall meet someday when I'm out in field service.

  i'd like for you to share songs that sound atmospheric and conjure up feelings of night air or a smokey room, the energy of the ocean's roar or capture the joy of a party or celebration.

  the songs can be transportive and take you other places by their sound and the visuals they evoke from the stories they tell.. my first one is from tim mcgraw.

  regarding the "stand your ground" law, bill maher joked that if the law was on the books in his state (california, i believe), his front lawn would be littered with jehovah's witnesses.
