  so i have a question that's been bothering me for years.

  i know this is extreme but i think you'll see where i'm going with this.

  so ex-jw's are evil we're on "satan's side" as my dad told me and we aren't worth a hello.

  I think what he is saying is they are hypocrites..

  They used to say we don't judge movies by their worldly rating PG- R.. we have a higher standards.. then they judge you if you see a rated R movie

  i ask this because the wt always bangs on about if you trust in jehovah and make that leap into pioneering, you will always be provided for.

  TV Show, 'The Bible'

  anyone planning to watch 'the bible' tv show march 3 on the history channel.

  five episodes focusing on o/t and five about the n/t.

  any thoughts?

  watched ten minutes or so of LOT .. unwatchable .. changed channel..lame IMO

  I used to watch the bible accounts of their battles and how the were won or lost due to the strategy.. made me think It wasn't jehavah's blessing.. but a good plan..

  Like walls of jerico ..they snuck in on rope hanging out of window .. when horn blew .. they attacked from the inside .. opened doors, hence.. walls came down .. not magic..

  Oh ya what a RUSH.. thanks for watching everyone.. It's pointless to talk to one at your door if they weren't brainwashed they wouldn't be there..

  The sister at the door was my Moms best friend, I'm still friends with her son who was not allowed to get baptised, elders thought he was to materialistic... and he kinda is..LOL but, really who are they to say who can and can't.. WTF..

  The real problem with Watchtower.

  a topic on here about 1975 prompted me to write about how, for me, that is and never was or will be an issue.. also, the 144,000 and 'two classes' with memorial partaking, and child abuse are not issues with this religion.

  everyone has their unique teachings and personnel problems.. the real problem with this religion was highlighted in the 2008 yearbook.

  it gave a story of a young woman who was from estonia who was on the equivalent of american idol for estonia.

  I left in 87 .. right after the stop asking for contributions, I was under the impression that They didn't need or would ever need money..

  That being said... when people would ask me about them .. I would say" they aren't after your money.. but YOU your whole life.. all of it.. every moment of every waking hour .. belongs to them"
