  Wrong!!!!! a cult has ONE leader ..they don't have One leader... so they can't be a cult..period

  Are the Witnesses Really Losing Their Young People?

  that article about jehovah's witnesses having the lowest retention rate for born ins keeps popping up every now again ... i'm just curious if any of you have noticed that this is actually the case.

  in the congregation that i grew up in, i'm going to say that 95% of the young people in their teens to mid twenties are either regular pioneering, regular auxiliary pioneering, serving in foreign language congregations or where the need is greater.

  both of my younger sisters are regular pioneers - and the young people in their hall even organize 8 pm to midnight service on friday nights of their own accord.

  To those of you wondering about the 8-midnight service - they do informal witnessing - gas stations, pizza shops and the like.

  sounds more like they are finding ways to have fun ..

  Bye Mom Bye Dad....... Won't be home till after midnight.... Yep we are all meeting up for Service at the pizza parlor then the movie theater...

  DUB's are gullible thats for sure...

  bless those kids getting out every friday night.. and counting time.. genuis!!

  today we had a bla bla bla watchtower article: warnings for technology, money and pride.

  a repreat of a repreat of a repreat.. but now it comes:.

  one of the last summary questions one of the local simple brothers gave the answer that we have to take care for technology.

  i found this article really interesting because of the similar thoughts ricky expresses i could relate to and think are good food for thought irrespect of what you believe at the present time.

  for example.... people who believe in god dont need proof of his existence, and they certainly dont want evidence to the contrary.

  i saw them coming down the street...the excitment grew.....then 2 people walked up to my door.... .

  one could hardly speak english...struggling to invite me to the memorial....i said "why should i go".

  they told me ...bec jesus died for everyone just one day a year is very important.... .

  Learning a lesson from Piers Morgan

  give the guy the benefit of the doubt...i guess,( i don't know the man personally so how can i say for sure).

  in that, he had "good intentions" when he took such a hardline against specific types of gun ownership.

  this is a good example to learn from though (me too).

  isn't that agaist WT policy... meetings not sanctioned by the GB are strictly taboo... That won't last.. neither will the 95% pioneers.. at some point slinging magizines door becomes fruitless and very tiresome..IMO
