Preaching and Those With a "Right Heart Condition"

aka "gullible, unquestioning, and at least somewhat uneducated".

this is one of those lines that really helps out when a jw runs into someone who know what they're talking about.. whether it's the bible, or scientific matters, or anything else where someone thy're talking to doesnt' agree with the teachings of "the slave", and has good reasonable points that they are trying to get across.. by telling the flock, and in turn the flock telling themselves that it's because of the persons "heart condition" and not their inability to accept the poor explanations and reasoning required to think like a jw, it insulates them from hearing too many facts that the teaching can't stand up to.. when they (probably unconsciously) sense that they are losing in a discussion, they can always tell themselves that the other person is unreasonable or has that pesky "bad heart"..

Suicide - How many do you know within the JWs

one interesting but truly tragic is the number of jwhovah's witnesses who commit suicie.. now i suspect that if a person commits suicide shortly before or after they are disfellowshipped then the elders would say that person wasn't a witness or that they had done something so terrible that they were too guilty to admit it and by their action of committing suicide they pretty much declared they were no longer a jw.. yup fancy talk to make sure any crap didn't fall on them.. so my question.. do you know of cases like this?

if so then can you answer a few more questions.. had this person been dfed or in real danger of being dfed or whatever the equivalent is if they were never baptized?.

just one but they family questioned it,, saying he was clumbsy.. and really like to warm up his car... with the doors closed.. he was the son of everyones favorite elder.. I knew him as a child, then he wasa a local writer for the paper it wasa big news.. here in Boise ID..

Along with the sister who was Murdered By the Russian dance instructor.. I knew her real well.... She was a very sweat lady...

sin against the spirit?

so here is something that i have been thinking about.. witnesses are told not to run ahead of jehovah's chariot but to walk behind it waiting for truth to be dispensed.. the new generation thingy mabobber about this generation overlapping the other generation also known in the uk as 'the generation game and the constant trying to explain, is evidence to me that they ran ahead of the chariot.

if witnesses are thrown out for apostasy for attempting to or in some cases figuring out bible meaning then why has this not happened to the gb.. why is jehovah is a god of order, truth and power do they make a mockery of him by changing the neeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwww lite.

is this not eidence that they ran ahead of the chariot?

well, i was disfellowshipped about 2 weeks ago.

i was in it for ten years and it was 9 years and 11 months too long.

i honestly don't know why it took me so long to do my research on this organization.

i feel woow....wonderful now..... the only one respectfull thing in the bible from me no is that "the truth will make you free.

-john 8:32. i am so happy, because i am very young and just before some months start pioneering..bla-bla-bla.... now i can planing my life..so happy that i know the truth about "the truth".

My sister is the only one in and my mom is out but 'in' in her head... every relationship she is in is ended (she says she doesn't attend cuz she didn't want to be waiting in line for the next elders wife to die, only to make him oatmeal).. .. her strict bible fear values won't budge ..

so I feel for you..

was thinking of going to meetings... but na' have all you want ... I like my time... it's all we really have .. they have had enough of mine

welcome! time.....

One day I just said enough already. I'm not happy, in fact I'm miserable and this organization has turned something as intimate and personal as one's relationship with God into some burdensome, cold, depressing and frustrating. Time to go! Glad am out! Only regret is that I didn't leave sooner.
