Why I think the Trinity doctrine is an irrelevant talking point with JWs, and what I believe could be a better approach.

there are no authentic/uncontested bible verses that prove a trinity.

the trinity doctrine is arrived at by inferences - not unlike the way that jws arrive at the doctrine that jesus is michael the archangel.

the jw proof texts against the trinity are at least as strong, if not stronger than, trinity proof texts.

forget trying to prove the trinity. Its easier to describe the Godhead. There is one God and Jesus is the manifestation of his word, Christ is God and God took on flesh became a man to show himself to the world. Christ fully man fully God as it is written

Did Jesus pre exist? Yes or no?

when i first became a witness, i always found the teaching about jesus being the arch angel michael hard to swallow.

i did however believe that jesus pre existed as a master worker alongside god (the first of his creation).. but now everything is brought into question having watched anthony buzzard explain why jesus could not have pre existed as it is impossible to pre exist yourself.

also the fact that it all sounds contradictory to suggest, he was already alive millions of years before he was transferred to mary's womb to be born as a human - the son of man?.

Jesus did pre exist because he created ALL things as it says in J

john 1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him.

John 1:10

He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

The fraud that is the 70 year desolation

as we know being former jws that we were taught that jerusalem was destroyed then 70 years it would be desolate.

well this isn't about jerusalem and the 607/ 587 argument.

this is about the whole subject of the 70 years desolation being a huge bible fraud.

1 John 5:13-20 Jesus is the true God?

one of the main things i am trying to wrap my head around after waking up to the nonsense of jw.org is the deity of christ.. jws go out of their way to ignore him, it seems to me.

they make him out to be an angel or something.

yet, if one simply reads the scriptures, you get an entirely different picture.. doing some bible reading this morning i accidentally (long story) read the latter part of 1 john 5 and it's good stuff.. after reading it in the niv i read it in nwt and it is still pretty amazing even in that abomination of a translation.. it says.... 13 i write you these things so that you may know that you have life everlasting, you who put your faith in the name of the son of god.

Yes Jesus is God. He is the visible manifestation of God in the flesh in a mans body

Interesting conversation with JW friend

i was withh a friend of mine who is a jw still and for whatever reason we started talking the bible.

i asked him about lazarus and how is that when he died he paid the price of sin, but then jesus resurrected him.

and i asked him "where is lazarus today?

the sin issue has been dealt with past present and future. Thats the whole purpose of Christ sacrifice. The reconciliation back to God has taken place. All you need to do is live with faith and love. You have been set free in Christ for all time see christians rising youtube

want to read a current false prophecy with 4 sevens as reference?

false prophecy: read it.

analise the wording: wt predicts that the second death of "satan" and his final followers will be finished by the end of the thousand year reign.. now we do not have to wait until 3075 for overlaps to laps.. p.s.

Can you sue a False Prophet

its a serious question but we all know that thousands even millions have been misled, brainwashed or deluded into thinking the end of the world is coming by false teachers and prophets.

many people gave up family, careers, time, enjoyment of life etc etc only to be disappointed time and time again.they are responsible for pain, suffering, and manipulation.

this goes to many denominations.

Help! Jehuba Is Casting Doubts In My Mind!

remember when we were "in"?

we were told that if we have doubts regarding the bible and regarding the wt, it is satan that is casting doubts in our mind?.

i have been out for 4 months now.

Friend we all go through life with doubts. Father knows that. Do not condemn yourself for having doubts but rather make it your goal to study and research the things you are doubting to give yourself clarity. Make sure of all things. I believe all things were fulfilled in the first century it is done my youtube channel ;Christians rising discuss all prophecy and the second coming has already happened in the 1st century. This helps set you free from all things. I let myself fade away from the WT ten years ago and found Christ as the truth and the way, not an organisation or system of worship. You might be suprised to know he dwells within all those who believe and he set you free to live oyur life within condmentation or judgement.You belong to him forever and your eternity is assured. No one can teach you these things but some will testify to you. So i would encourage you to make sure of all things be happy in your search for God he will let himself be found by you. Hope you find him
