Sorry that you went through such a bad time, Lois. I never got over my first love. But she was older than me and was already engaged when we had our summer of love...Oh well., I found someone better than her and hope you did as well.

I applied three separate times to Beth Hell.... I was sort of disappointed that I was not accepted. I figured that there was "Something Wrong" with me and was therefore not "Good Enough" to serve at the holy of holies. Now that I know how things are and who I am as a person I am very glad that I never went there. All the guys I ever met that had served there all beat up their wives and had big fat egos on them. I feel blessed.

Today is our 22nd anniversary!!!

fortunately its the 5th one for my wife and i outside of the borg.

i've been working out of town, my job has moved me to tulsa, family soon to follow, but get to spend a happy day with my wife (enlightened ephesian) today.

Was the TM School really any good ?

many of us were members of the theocratic ministry school for many years.

some say it helped them with public speaking, and maybe it did for some.. but, when you look back at the quality of student it turned out, was it really any good ?.

most elders are crap public speakers, most r&f bros are crap at reading aloud, most jw's are crap at selling their religion at the door, most jw's have scant real knowledge of the bible.. there are reasons for this, quite often the tms overeer hasn't a clue how to teach a person to progress.

the only reason i am posting this is because i know many of you are going or will be going through something similar and wonder if it is worth it.

i personally feel that it is worth it regardless of what i lose.

my wife is backing me and i have my children.

Being a parent I can feel her sincerity in trying to reach you. But supporting the wt no matter how sincere makes anyone simply sincerely wrong. I hope that you make it through this in a good way. You have much support here.

Please clear up a confusion I have Do Christians believe that the AntiChrist will be Satan the Devil in human form?

for years i have been told different scenarios from different christian groups about who the antichrist will be.

some born agains have told me that the antichrist will be satan the devil stripped of all his powers and trapped in a human body on earth.

he will still have the same attitude and try to get people to worship him instead of jehovah and jesus.

I have heard varied themes as well. Satan in the flesh, the progeny of Satan, etc. I believe that the antichrist is symbolic of anyone or anything that opposes Christ (The Annointed of God), while appearing to BE Christ.

but whenever i see this one guy i want to run him over.

its always on a wednesday when i'm driving on the school run.

Who cares what the guy says and does? Nobody is ever good enough to suit anyone else, so let him got to hell in his own way. Why jeopardize your freedom by running him over? My wife has an uncle that lives across the street. He is a drunkard and a wife beater and even went as far as to threaten to knock the crap out of the entire elder body if they didn't make him an elder. LOL I call him Count Drunkula and laugh at his stupidity every time I run into him.
