I Albuquerque we were STRONGLY discouraged from working alone. I guess because of all the serial rapists who wait for women to knock on their doors. I being a larger sized male would not encourage such behavior so I just went alone many times. Nothing like showing up for service while aux pioneering and no one else joins you! I would actually knock and make may sales pitch too.

Desperate JWs At My Door Today

I have been in terrible pain for several days now. I don't know WHAT I did but my low back hurts like hell and there is a lump like a knot there. NOTHING had helped until I used my wife's TENS unit. But that wasn't until AFTER that knock at the door this morning.
I had been awake in pain for 36 hrs straight and when I FINALLY felt like I could lie in the bed and sleep the phone rang. My father in law's STUPID pioneer wife had renegged on taking him to a dr. appt over in another town. She KNEW he had this appt and said she would takle him, then at the last minute said she HAD to go place memorial flyers. So he was calling everyone he knew with an hour notice to take him. I took him even though I needed sleep.
So i was getting ready to take him and knock knock knock knock knock! I had heard my neighbor's voice so figured he needed something and I opened the door. Apparently what I heard was him telling jw's to go away. So I open the door and voila there stand a married couple holding memorial flyers. I said, "NO THANK YOU" in a serious tone and closed the door. The guy kept talking as if he never heard me or saw the door close. I could hear him rambling about the memorial of christ blah blah blah.
All I could think was this guy is in so much fear that he is desperate to SAY the words so HO-VAH won't crush him for not obeying the slave. As I pulled out of the driveway a few minutes later I saw about half a dozen jw's piling into a van in a hurry. They seemed to be desperate to get to the next street or maybe the donut shop.

by karter inhad 2 in my last congro.. 1 was trying sssooo hard to be an m.s we used to say he was brownoseing out (not reaching out) he would allways fall all over the c.o and hang around the elders like the bad smell he was.. another one was an m.s for years and brownoseing out to be an elder....him and his wife kissed every available arse,they used to make me sick when the c.o came around...he finaly made elder only to be removed 3 months latter.. .

Yea, my wife's uncle...Count DRUNKula! He spent most of his life being a drunken wife and child abusing ASS. Never went to service and missed most of the meetings. He would attend assemblies with a dagger tucked into his cowboy boot and a pistol in his book bag. He drank and acted like an asshole all the time. Well because his poor, long suffering wife, (The Bride of DRUNKenstein) kept the kids in line and going to meetings and service the three girls and the son are all pioneers and the son is also a ms. Count DRUNKula thinks that because HE is the head of the house that HE is the reason his kids excel in the wt. So he wants to be an elder NOW! WTF!!! LOL So he brown nosed the elders. Inviting them for SHRIMP dinners. Ooo la la! SHRIMP says class I guess. He volunteered for all manner of work details too. Well the elders said that his reputation as a drunken brawler excluded him from an eldership in their fine congregation. He got mad and threatedned to beat them up! LMAO! He left and moved to the other Spanish congo in the same hall. Same brown nosing happened there, but like the elders TALK...He was once again denied. He spends his time carting everyone around now to meetings and ass-semblies like a fu**ing LACKEY....He's so stupid.

Happiest sadness I've ever felt

i mean ive been telling myself that most people would care.
but i can just tell, by the way i feel shocked and surprised at their genuine interest to listen and help, that subconsciously, i still feel like no worldly person cares.

The bible, seriously?

I have some problems with a lot of the things written in the Bible. I can see a very angry and vindictive Yaweh in the OT who is then shown to be kind and forgiving in the NT with Jesus only to switch back to angry and vindictive Jesus in Revelation. There are some double standards that make me wonder why certain people get away with murder and others can't. Like King David. He committed adultery then murder to cover it all up. ANY other Israelite would have been stoned to death at the city gate just for screwing another man's wife, forget about having the guy hacked to pieces to hide the pregnancy. But not David. He got to keep the wife and while losing their little bastard offspring they did get to have more kids. Oh sure, there was trouble in the house of David but wow, no stoning at the gate was bs. IMHO anyways.
