Shaving: Wet or Electric?

i don't shave that much, maybe twice a week so it's not even a big deal, but i saw someone at the health club using an electric shaver and that got me pondering all over again.. .
i've been using mach iii recently and fairly happy with that.

IMHO reformation of the wt is pointless. I would submit that new light qualifies as as reform. The only thing to be done is for individuals to accept that the wt is beyond help and to walk away from it.

How many here (believers) believe in the Hell fire doctrine and why??
by jam init's obvious the bible is very clear on a actual hell of fire.
"cursed into the eternal fire with the devil and his angels", rev.20:15.
"lake of fire", rev.21:8 "fire and brimstone".

What I understand about hell fire is that the imagery comes from Dante's Inferno. A writing that was produced centuries after the bible was written. I give it no biblical credence.

What kind of books do you like to read?
by tornapart inwhen i was younger i enjoyed reading thrillers.
i've always enjoyed reading history books, particularly of my own country.
these days i enjoy reading books from the best seller list.

Biographies are great reads. I also enjoy books where someone expliores their ideals and life experience. Marcus Aurelius' Meditations is a good example.

I feel that the vast majority of jw's I have been around are decent and sincere people who have been horribly misled.

My wife's uncle...Count DRUNKula. As both a bad jw and now a hypocritical good one carries a .357 magnum revolver AND a boot dagger in his cowboy boot. When I attended I carried a pistol too. LOL

Talk out loud in public places...new preaching method? And go bags..
by snare&racket ini have been told of two things i had not heard of before.. one is a new preaching method, going to public places in a group e.g.
a cafe, and then talking of the topic quite loudly, for example maybe studying a watchtower or a chapter in a publication.
the idea being that people listen in and enquire etc etc.

This happened here a couple of months ago at my IHOP. I asked the two of them, LOUDLY, about the child abuse/molestation lawsuits and why they preach a Gospel other than the Gospel of Grace that Jesus preached.
They ignored me and quieted their conversation.
