  so, if you expect to find 'saints' with halos, you will never find real christians.. after over 30 years of being a jw, there are many things about the org that disturb me- yet no one else even acknowledges the only true god, as jesus referred to him.. not a 'they' or 'them' ('trinity')- but him!and he has always had the name jehovah (yehovah in hebrew)- even though the koine greek had no version of it when the nt was written.. so among the many things real christians have to endure- is often each other!

  What are the biggest reasons that make you convinced about the fundamentals of your faith and is there any potential information that could make you question them?

  First, I LOVED my Catholic Cult- and despised JWs, but my best friend, who happened to be one simply asked questions that got me thinking. That let to hot debates about my Catholic Beliefs which quickly crumbled upon close examination.

  Thus, I concluded the Bible was Crap.

  He gave me a WTBS Book, which got me thinking about THAT- but I didn't trust it- so spent months in the Library studying the background of the Bible- and slowly, it started ADDING UP!

  Cofty, I like you- but you are guilty of what you are charging ME with.

  If you can't admit science knows SQUAT about what life IS and how it BEGAN, they you refuse, also, to see the rest is sheer guesswork.

They let people sell houses , cars , and insurance policies to give the money to fund extra preaching . Then when it didn't happen no one was refunded . l am not a Catholic but l will say that the Catholic Church never pulled a stunt like that ."

  Making Dumb Guesses about God's Cryptic Prophecies makes them foolish and indiscreet- not False Prophets who claim God gave them the message.

  The Catholic Church would rape, torture, then kill you- taking you belongings, if you taught contrary to the Church.

  You've got PROBLEMS, my friend!

  PS- in 1975- I told the bros and sis who believed the 1975 theory (the WTBS NEVER claimed it as FACT) thgey were crazy. The fault was THEIRS.

  It's like saying you wrote the Bible- then claiming Genesis is not a part of the Bible.

  You sound like the Clergy explaining their Triune Polytheism!

  Evvies KNOW they don't "have a leg to stand on", since they have NO idea what life IS, much less, how it began- so they use that PLOY.

  That is the very BEGINNING of 'Evolution'; WHAT LIFE IS AND HOW IT BEGAN.

  i have a trove of old watchtower literature.

  i know of course, and for example, to keep the three first volumes of the watchtower (bound) and a bunch of other items.

  (and i handle them delicately.).
