  however, one jw had the audacity to claim that "jws do not shun".

  they seem to want to present a fake, squeeky clean image to non-members and seem to get angry when answering questions regarding shunning.. like this asshole, dennis cybulski.

  In the case of Tony the turd, I think he "doth protest too much"... if I were to get on a platform and say:

  I've noticed a lot of women with tight gym pants, they're so tight they really cling to the buttocks... you can see every nook and cranny, even from the front, nothing is left to the imagination... ahem, it's not Christian... I think it's "disgusting"... the way they cling so tight... so, so tight to the buttocks...."

  You'd naturally assume I really like tight pants on girls (and you'd be right).

  KH Hall doors to remain locked during meetings?

  my mother in law told us this morning that they read a letter in her cong last night.

  from now on kh doors will be locked after 15 min of meeting start.

  only the fire exit (one way door) will remain unlocked.

  It’s just for safety issues in areas of high crime. When they start locking the doors in the suburbs, then you will know the heat is on.

  Someday there may be an announcement to get to your local kingdom hall at such and such time. If you’re not there on time and they lock the doors, then you’re dead meat just like in the days of Noah.

  In the case of the members of Speke, Liverpool congregation I think they'd be safer at home. The locals would rob the teeth from your head if you gave them the chance.

  My last cong always did this... but then it was in a shit hole area.

  There's a working mens club next door, the patrons sit outside and discard of their empty beer bottles by throwing them over the railings. Doing car park security always involves talking to the drunks outside.

  What JW habits do you still have?

  since leaving the jw's after over 4 decades, i can see exactly what it is and hate everything it stands for.

  however, there are still some jw habits and traits that i can't get rid of:.

  1. i can't swear in general conversation (i'd have to be really angry).

  The only thing I still dont do is eat black pudding.

  But that's because I tried it and didn't like the taste... so now I have my own personal reason for not eating blood.

  Creation, evolution, ???

  was on the bus today and got into a discussion somehow with the driver and ok be ood his work colleagues about whether there's life in other planets, evolution and creation.

  the driver believes there must be other life out there, i agree with him that life can't be unique to this planet out of the billions that exist.

  his colleague who i think might be a jw by his attitude and reasoning skills thinks we're the only planet with life on it and it was made perfect and exact purposely for humans.

  Cofty's assumptions lead him to believe that he is related to an oak tree. If he wants to believe this, that's his right to do so. But, its not science. It's assumption....it is his religion.

  No, Cofty and oak trees share a common ancestor. This ancestor is neither human nor is it a tree, it's something we and the tree descended from.
