Worry not. I've recorded them and will upload them on my YouTube channel later today. I'll post a link here later.
what is getting me down are the difficult and troubling experiences posted by some of the forum users.
in a number of cases i cannot believe the injustice inflicted on the person.
how, forgive the wording, in god’s name can this be happening?
I feel that reading such negative things about an organization we were once a part of is actually a good thing. Sometimes we can feel "oh, but what if it IS the truth?!!" and go running back to it. When we read of the terrible things that the org is doing or have done it just proves that this is not God directed.

i decided to spend my sunday morning creating a youtube video highlighting 7 things most jw's dont know they're supposed to believe.
most of these i learned only after my exit of the cult.
here's hoping a few jw's will stumble upon it.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=er44oc0p4ny&feature=youtu.be.

deborah frances white 30 min radio show 14 oct.. highly recommended.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07x6mf3.
I listened to this last night and shared it in another thread. I laughed out loud more than a few times i can tell you. She describes it very well and you see how bizzare it must sound to someone with no JW knowledge.
guys, you gotta check this out.
she explains the whole religion in a very funny way.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07x6mf3#play.
Saename, I guess it's hard to know when to laugh without the canned laughter eh?
(im only joking btw, i love you really)
...that is the question our circuit overseer asked the elders.
to elaborate, the agenda for the co meeting with the elders had an item about the "beard paragraph" (sept watchtower p21 para 17) which i assumed would be an instruction to not use any with beards on the platform.
instead he genuinely wanted to know if we would recommend a brother if he had a beard but everything else was ok. he kept pressing until he got 100% saying yes - a beard isn't a problem.
It's only a friggin beard (rolls eyes) why is a meeting needed for something every first century christian had?
I take pride in that i was the first bearded man to give a talk in my congregation since 1955. The speaker didnt turn up and no one else understood the subject but yours truely.
throughout this process since my wife and i disassociated just over a year ago i've been pretty positive.
focusing on my new life, new friends, having fun, and living a good life.
it's been great.
Dubstepped you are one of my fave posters and commenters. I remember when i first had doubts and written my stuggles on here while i was still in and you were there. When i was outed and asked for help you were there and when i left and went thru hell you were there. What's past is past and unfortunately we can only live for today and plan to live happy lives outside the cult. You have no idea how much you and others helped me. And im sure others would echo that statement.
I can relate to all that your saying and its absolutely normal and understandable to feel that way. I myself keep having to stop myself slipping into thoughtstopping mode. It's messed my mind up and it'll take time for us to recover.
Stay happy and stay strong.

i just dropped my daughter off to her mum at her parents house.
it was 12pm and i knew they meet for feild service there but my ex and i assumed they would still be out knocking on doors.
i pull up in the street and there's quite a few cars parked up and the house was backed with jdubs from my old congregation.
What they don't realise is they're making it easy for my child to see that it's an unloving organisation. When she's with me 3 days a week she's loved unconditionally and we speak to random strangers on the bus and she even got a fancy dress outfit for Halloween (she can't wait for 31st Oct). And we play learning games were she's showered with praise when she gets an answer right.
What's she gonna get with the JWs?? "Your not good enough" "must try harder" etc
so this past week the wife and i have received several phone calls and text messages from our old hall.
we were also invited out to dinner to catch up with some old friends.
an hour before dinner this guys wife messaged my wife and said that she "can't wait for tonight!!
I think you had a lucky escape there. They sound like terrible dinner guests anyway.
