  absolutely thrilled to give you the news that my younger brother, a zealous full-time pioneer has left the witnesses!!.

  i haven't seen or spoke to him in a year.

  i'd lost all contact with him, no facebook, no mobile number, i didn't even know his address because he'd moved house.

  My ex-wife barely even knows the basics of the religion. She only stays because her whole family are in. She calls me sometimes on Saturday/Sunday morning or Thursday evening when she should be in the hall and when i ask shes like "oh, i have a headache." or "i had an appointment" or "it's raining" - you know, the excuses we all made up when we didnt want to go out in service or to the meetings because they're so mindnumbingly boring and nobody actually enjoys them.

  My daughter is 3 and only knows the hall is where she goes to see her little friends. She has non JW celebrations and stuff with me. She even asked me when her next birthday is because she loves birthdays. I highly doubt she'd ever become a JW.

  i ask this question for good reason.

  let's face it, despite all the books, videos, forums, court cases, hearings, protests etc that have been exposing the society for many years.

  jw.org continues to roll on almost 'it seems' unscathed.. for example, just walk into any kingdom hall there is not so much as a whisper about anything that has been exposed outside of jw land.

  When i was waking up I used the phrase "its like living in North Korea".

  And it is. Information control is being used. Threats of losing your family. A lot of people in N.Korea know it's bullshit but think they're the only ones who think it so they go along with it.

  This religion will, i hope in my lifetime, dwindle into a little online based church soliciting donations. Either that or it'll form a splinter group and the process will start again.

  Update: He text me last night saying two elders turned up for a shepherding call without warning. I asked how it went he said "They tried to get me to come back. I played along with it but i dont want to so i wont be going back."

  He laughed and said "you told me this would happen." And... get this guys... he asked me "have you seen this website JWFacts?"

  I let him tell me all about it as if i didnt know. He's going to have a lot of enjoyable reading on there:)

  I wonder if the video at last years regional assembly. You know the one stopping the young boy (Sergie?) from playing the violin had an effect on your Brother?

  Yes we mentioned this! He's Sergei! We had a little laugh about it. He was in an orchestra a few years ago and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately he was pressured to give it up because it "may" mean him missing a few meetings. He'll probably get back into it now.

  melbourne international convention australia, thousands of watchtower robots and i happened to get in an elevator with viv mouritz one of the main men at bethel.

  he had a young pretty sister who was escorting him around.

  i stood behind them and rocognized him instantly.

  If he hasn't already, your brother needs to start learning TTATT. Otherwise, there is a danger he might go back if he doesn't intellectually understand just how far this organization is from "the truth".

  I know Londo111. I dont want to overload him with apostasy, because i know once our family find out he's back in contact with me they'll claim im feeding him "apostate driven lies". Slowly slowly.
