Eldub BIL, and Df'ed Kid's!!!!
by DwainBowman inmy super fine eldub bil, has a son that's been df'ed for a long time.
last month he deeded off 1/4 of an acre of land in the back of his pasture, bought a small local built used tiny house, and got it all set up, for his son to live in.
to everyone of the jw's in this area really look up to him and his stand on having nothing to do with his df'ed kid's or grandkids.

i recall a " machlon" , "eunice" , even a "jehosafath".

I know what nutty couple who called their kids Temperance and Ziba. I get that some countries might have funy names but these were a white English kids living in the north of England.

1980s Brochure/magazine on demon possession?
by caves indoes anyone else remember a brochure/ magazine from the early 80s with stories of demon possessed individuals and spiritism ?
i dont think i saw it around very long.
it had a story about some lady having her head snapped around by a demon.

Oh I had those thought's all the time... In fact, I had them every time I went out on the ministry and every time I went to the meeting.

Do Any JW's Still Use/Trust the Reasoning Book?

will the "slave" explain to their followers that such an invaluable "witnessing tool" is no longer to be used, or will they just revise it electronically to reflect "current truth?

Remember the Wife of Lot
by Addison0998 infor family worship last night, our family watched remember the wife of lot movie since it will be discussed in the meeting this week.
there’s a few things i noticed that i didn’t think about last time i watched it.. first, the dad is very of course against his daughters going to college or even trying to find a good job.
yet he does accounting, which is a very good job that almost always requires a college education.

I never got what was wrong with the oldest daughters hair... there's a bit at the dinner table where she goes back to the cult mentality and the family say "you gotta fix your hair" and they all laugh.
Anyone know what was wrong with it?

they seem to want to present a fake, squeeky clean image to non-members and seem to get angry when answering questions regarding shunning.. like this asshole, dennis cybulski.

Ugh Quora is overrun by overzealous JW who think the internet is their preaching ground. Some of them are really, really Fing obnoxious.
Won't be long before I quit the whole site.
I'm deliberately becoming the bane of their Quora presence. They block me from commenting one by one. It's like a badge of honor.
