Usually about every week or so a certain elder will make sure to remind everyone to limit their comments to 30 seconds or less. You can tell it is a pet peeve of his when someone goes over the 30 second mark. Its funny to watch him get so upset about it.

Wt "study" Participation, is it a "True Believer" Indication?-- or not?

the majority rarely comment, 2 sisters, vehemently, and often comment.
since in their case, it can not possibly be" teaching in the congregation", is participation in the wt "study"in general an affirmation of faith?

My "best" friend (active JW) has just died

i rarely get on instagram anymore because i dont want to deal with the jw propaganda but i swear sometimes i just want to comment on one of those pics 'jw life is the worst life ever wake up already'.

After all the memorial posts the other night i wanted to vomit. A guy from the hall posted a pic and then tagged this celebrity that is a witness (i think he is in sister sister) Anyways i looked at this celbrities Instagram and sure enough he has selfies from being in service, but other pics he has a goatee. If that was a regular, no name dub, he'd have been counseled. -

My mother has nervous breakdown because we missed the memorial.
by cookiemaster inmy parents insisted that i'd take them to the memorial.
my cousin said he'd come too and another brother who doesn't have a car begged to join.
i was dreading having to go through exactly the same thing again.

You were better off staying home, wasn't your fault a blizzard hit. I had a friend killed a month ago while going home from meeting during a blizzard, pretty sure you would have felt worse if something like that would have happened, had you gone to the memorial. -

Did the Brother giving the Memorial talk mention Nisan 14 ???
by RubaDub inin our congregation, the brother mentioned nisan 14 a dozen times.. i thought, with the fact the jewish calendar has nisan 14 in april this year (april 22 i believe) that the nisan 14 thing would be hushed up.. was it mentioned where you attended?.

Couldn't tell if ours was up or down, but pretty much all the inactive/kids of those who are in are the only new ones. No new blood that i noticed. Talk was by a bethelite and we didn't applaud afterwards.
A funny little lie i gathered from his talk was that this was the 1,984th memeorial celebrated since Jesus instituted it. Ummm, i'm pretty sure witnesses haven't been around that long.

I'm hoping we lose some soon. Out of the 5 elders, 3 are 60+, and the other two are pushing 60. One they rarely use because he is too old and his talks are terrible as well as his reading.
