5 Ways to Improve Your Online Security
by Simon inlet's face it, we're all connected now.
we take it for granted that we access our bank accounts from our laptops or phones.
it's so convenient.

A most interesting Christmas present
by JeffT inso our daughter gave my wife and i a very nice family album of photos from the course of the year.
as we opened it, she said it had a surprise hidden in it, so we're watching for something to fall out.
about 2/3 or the way through it we hit an ultrasound print of a tiny baby.

Where We Jews (and Religionists) Have Not Been So Forthcoming
by David_Jay inbecause i feel some people have become confused in thinking that i am promoting religion or thinking that being jewish is some type of special gift that makes me better, i am writing to tell you that i don’t feel this way.
think of this as your christmas gift (or chanukah or festivus or whatever).. despite the fact that i too practice a religion, i also think atheism is a purposeful and noble use of the mind.
too often people with a religion have only bad things to say about atheism and atheists.

Don't tell me my business Viviane. I can type whatever I want.
Just because I don't agree with someone on one topic doesn't mean I'm going to hold it against them eternally or disagree with them on other topics.
Anyway, enjoy your day trolling.

If I listened to every pedantic fact-miser on this board I would've cut out long ago. Oftentimes people react most to information that conflicts with their established belief system--facts or no.
Don't leave David-Jay. We need more writers on this board with character and personality. You know how the fact-sharks can be when they smell blood in the water.

Living Vicariously Through the Sheep.
by donny inwhen i got baptized as a jehovah’s witness in the summer of 83, my honeymoon period lasted about two years before i began to wonder if the society and its adherents were all it claimed to be.
no of the things i encountered for the first few years was really faith shattering, they simply just made me pause and think.
after a short while, i would file those issues in the back of my brain files and move forward.. .

I think I need a cigarette after reading that steamy sex scenario with the brunette getting spanked from behind. The visuals are surreal. Why so graphic? Whhhyyyy???

Mr. Cohen, I really enjoyed reading this. Laughed quite a bit. Fortunately, I had already put down my milk. As a fellow theist I sympathize and appreciate with what you are saying regarding the contributions atheists give to society as well as to believers such as myself. Great writing, and I'd like to see more. No rope needed here.
