  I forgot to mention in my last list the now scientifically PROVEN half life of DNA at only a mere 521 years.

  And yet, we are asked to ignore this evidence and just believe that Dinosaur bones are the exception, because they have been found with DNA fragments.

  So let's review:

  1. Fresh tissue is indicative of a yound age, unless it is dinosaur tissue, then it isn't

  2. The distinctive odor of rotting flesh is indicative of a young age unless it is dinosaur corpse stench, then it isn't

  3. Carbon 14 dating is accurate unless it is performed on dinosaur soft tissue, then it isn't

  4. DNA has a scientifically proven half life of 521 years unless it is dinosaur DNA, then it doesn't

  What it comes down to, Perry, is you know you are right because you have read the truth in a holy book....And, yes, we get most of what we believe from reading books

  It seems obvious that your books dictate what you believe and forces you to suspend common sense and facts that don't support your forgone conclusions. There is more than enough evidence to seriously doubt the "Millions of Years" dogma.

  You have the evidence of your own eyes.... soft dinosaur tissue that couldn't possible last for millions of years anywhere, much less pourous limestome. It's impossible to demonstrate otherwise. We are simply asked to believe.

  You have the evidence of your own nose.... smelling the stench of rotting flesh when dinosaur bones are cracked open. Again, people are asked to just ignore common sense and believe.

  Again, we are asked to ignore this evidence and just believe otherwise.

  Secularists also, ask us to believe life came from non-life... something that is simply fanciful and foreign to ANY known science or testing. For all of some scientists' pomp and special pleading, they are yet to produce even one living twig on their own. Yet, this failure to demonstrate doesn't stop the faithful from pronouncing their views as fact or likely probability.

  And you have the evidence of Dr. Jack Horner in the phone interview above who seems anything but open to ideas different than his own. He reminds me of a JW elder who has just been challenged by someone knowledgeable, they just feign superiority, because well, they feel superior. They imagine that circular reasoning is thier friend, but it isn't; it is their abyss that affords them a view of only themselves. But, I don't want to pick on only these groups. This condition of the mind focused only on the self is a species-wide phenomana.

  The human mind seems absolutely pre-disposed to self-deception. This is a fundamental teaching of Christianity:

  "For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,"

  JW, read my scriptural reference I added. You can know my friend. I've experienced it personally. And nothing can ever take that away.

  My faith rests on the KNOWING, not the other way around as you suggest. I would tell you if it was something different.

  And my continued study into the OT and NT and science convinced me that a biblical world-view is more plausible than a secular one.

  However, there is no substitute for God speaking the knowledge of himself directly into your spirit. It is a KNOWING that the bible promises when a person makes a life exchange with Jesus.

  I have experienced this ... as has EVERY born again Christian. You can KNOW.

  It is because JW's NEVER had Jesus as their center anyway. Jesus was sort of a guy who provided an umbrella insurance policy so that members could get on with the business of working their own righteousness and salvation. This is anti-christ and an insult to God - to try to work for something that he has provided as a gift. The JW life isn't about Jesus, it is all about vanity.

  When JW's leave they are already pre-disposed to being Anti-Christian not only because of their lack of experience with Jesus personally, they have also led a life of condemming All Christians in general, seeing them as liars and hypocrits - this is what we were programmed to do.

  Many are still running that WT program.

  That's a very nice, high-budget slick video from the evolutionary perspective. It is full of misdirection. These discoveries don't tell us about the behavior of dinosaurs as much as they do about the AGE of dinosaurs. The program claims that the hell creek bones are unique, they are not.

  so... i am gaining more experience reverse-witnessing, and i had the greatest of ideas!!

  i don't have to say anything against the watchtower, there's sufficient flip-flops in the wt to make one cringe!!

  so what i did was, opened a fb, went to a jw forum, added as many jw's as i could, and opened up a fb page that just posts quotes from the very first watchtowers.

  We now know that DNA has a 521-year half-life

  So, why is it that the great age theory isn't revived when remnants of Dinosaur DNA is found?

  Even before we knew the half-life of dna, I personally threw my hands up in the air when I found out that it was common knowledge among "scientists" that broken-open dinosaur bones smell like rotting corpses. It doesn't take a genius to realize that stench is coming from something organic!

  Quote From Discover Magazine 2006:

  Once, when she was working with a T. rex skeleton harvested from Hell Creek, she noticed that the fossil exuded a distinctly organic odor. "It smelled just like one of the cadavers we had in the lab who had been treated with chemotherapy before he died," she says. Given the conventional wisdom that such fossils were made up entirely of minerals, Schweitzer was anxious when mentioning this to Horner. "But he said, 'Oh, yeah, all Hell Creek bones smell,'" she says. To most old-line paleontologists, the smell of death didn't even register.

  I don't trust much of science falsely so-called... especially the science of the theoretical nature that can't be tested.

  Given that the bible makes zero commentary about the dinosaurs

  And Job 40 does just that when God is giving Job a good talkin to:

  Behold now behemoth, which I made with you; he eats grass as an ox.

  See now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.

  He moves his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

  His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
