Good thing I don't believe in hell any more than you believe in pro-choice.
Good thing Justice is not dependent on what anyone believes. Justice is blind.

What Child Is This? Oh My God!
by Perry inhebrews 1: in the new world translation.
now at the end of these days he has spoken to us by means of a son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the systems of things.
he is the reflection of gods glory and the exact representation of his very being, and he sustains all things by the word of his power....for example, to which one of the angels did god ever say: you are my son; today i have [begotten thee] become your father?

Can you even imagine what this event did to the psychology of the Devil? Him who thought himself soooo superior to this creature that was so easily fooled and deceived? In response, God honored this creature by becoming one of them Himself so that through this species he could defeat the devil by taking upon Himself the penalty for sin and through this Man pronounce judgement, and cause the very object of the Devils abuse to be the one to cast the Devil into the lake of fire that burneth forever.
Oh yes....what child is this?

Hebrews 1: in the New World translation
Now at the end of these days he has spoken to us by means of a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the systems of things. He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact representation of his very being, and he sustains all things by the word of his power....For example, to which one of the angels did God ever say: “You are my son; today I have [begotten thee] become your father”? And again: “I will become his father, and he will become my son”? But when he again brings his Firstborn into the inhabited earth, he says: “And let all of God’s angels do obeisance [worship] to him.”
Jesus is utterly unique, singular, and unlike the angels....God's ONLY BEGOTTEN , bearing 50% of his being from the essence of God.... just as we all bear 50% of our DNA from our father. Since God is Omni-Present he cannot be divided. So, Jesus is fully God...bearing his essence AND the son of the luckiest woman who ever lived. He sustains ALL THINGS by the power of his word ALONE.
Happy Birthday Jesus.... my God. Crank it up.

I am not pro-abortion, but I am pro-choice. I do not want to see America turn back to the days of butchery
Have you ever looked at images of butchered children with their brains sucked out, spinal corrds snipped, and the limbs severed to get them out???????
Gods justice is an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Those that support abortion, those that have done it, and especially those that advocate for it deserve at the very least that the same done to them in Hell.
This is not my standard, but Gods. This is true justice. Those that do it for medical reasons..... I'll just let God be the judge and figure that one out.

It's about the same (more or less) as any works based religion ... which is all of them except for Christianity.
Eph. 2: 8 By this undeserved kindness you have been saved through faith, and this is not of your own doing; rather, it is God’s gift. 9 No, it is not a result of works, so that no one should have grounds for boasting. - New World Transaltion

JW's Unanswerable Question & Why Doesn't Everyone Take Them to Task For This?
by Perry inthe one question that is absolutely unanswerable by jehovah's witnesses that actually understand their own doctrines is this:.
can you show me even one new testament scripture that shows how a person can get their sins forgiven while outside of the new covenant?.
most of us are familiar with the one proof scripture that has all the necessary elements tied together into one neat doctrine - matther 26: 27,28:.

myelaine,
I can't say that I disagree with anything substantive that Tec wrote direcly above. As for anyone being saved without having made a conscious decision for Christ, there is little to support that in my opinion. However, there are a couple references that make me think it might be possible. I would certainly never teach such a thing though because it wasn't the message that was delivered to us from the apostles. But I try not to limit the providence of God in my own mind at least.
tec,
If the marriage supper of the Lamb takes place in heaven during the 7 year tribulation period here on earth (as many Christians privately believe), then the 144,000 Israelites and the Great Multitude of other believers that survive the tribulation would probably not be included in the "Bride of Christ" even though they are all still part of the New Covenant and are declared righteous by the poured out blood of Christ in their stead.
My main point is: There is no biblical imperative that requires that the members of the New Covenant be limited to only the "Bride of Christ", that I'm aware of. It is the Watchtower that makes that limiting distinction. The New Covenant is "for the forgiveness of sins", and not for a heavenly hope as opposed to a earthly hope per se. That is a misdirection and sleight of hand tactic. The primary hope of Christians is not exclusively for a destination, ie. heaven or earth, but rather to escape the Judgment due us for our sin, which is guaranteed by God's own blood.
Acts 20:28 "Feed the church of GOD, which he hath purchased with HIS OWN BLOOD." - KJV

tec,
Sounds like we are in basic agreement. I am still unsure as to whether or not the 144,000 tribulation Jewish believers and the blood washed great crowd covenant members (tribulation survivors) are part of the bride of Christ.
My understanding is that the OT Jews were the bride (wife) of Jehovah, the NT believers (during the church age) are the bride of Christ and the billions of people born during the Millenium are subjects of the Kingdom and its heirs, primarily Jesus.
This is all a moot point as far as salvation goes. We are ALL saved from the GWT Judgment at the end of the Millenium by nothing more or less than the grace of God expressed in the Blood Covenant and our faith in it. "We are saved by grace through faith".
Perhaps others more knowledgeable could comment on the bride of Christ aspect?
