He had a "glorified" body when resurrected. He could apparently walk through walls and just appear. Same body, new powers. Not Spirit. If he didn't want someone to recognise him, he could easily change their perception, not necessarily his body. And they did recognise him and touch him, and eat with him.

Proof the anointed aren't being resurrected yet.....
by EndofMysteries inthe society teaches that since around 1919 the anointed who have died and do die, are resurrected as spirit creatures.
the only one to be resurrected as a spirit that is documented in the bible is jesus.
when jesus was resurrected, did he appear to his disciples yet his body was still buried?

It even has what looks like blood flowing from a palm wound. Article
World-renowned astrophysicist Robert Jastrow, founding director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, explains the “fear of faith” many of today’s scientists experience.
There is a kind of religion in science, it is the religion of a person who believes there is order and harmony in the universe, and every effect must have its cause; [but] there is no First Cause. …
“No First Cause,” however, means there is no Creator, no God. As Jastrow continues:
This religious faith of the scientist is violated by the discovery that the world had a beginning under conditions in which the known laws of physics are not valid, and as a product of forces or circumstances we cannot discover. When that happens, the scientist has lost control. If he really examined the implications, he would be traumatized. As usual when faced with trauma, the mind reacts by ignoring the implications – in science this is known as “refusing to speculate” – or trivializing the origin of the world by calling it the Big Bang, as if the Universe were a firecracker.
Consider the enormity of the problem. Science has proven that the universe exploded into being at a certain moment. It asks, What cause produced this effect? Who or what put the matter and energy into the Universe? Was the Universe created out of nothing, or was it gathered together out of pre-existing materials? And science cannot answer these questions …
“Now,” Jastrow continues, “we would like to pursue that inquiry farther back in time, but the barrier to further progress seems insurmountable. It is not a matter of another year, another decade of work, another measurement, or another theory; at this moment it seems as though science will never be able to raise the curtain on the mystery of creation.”
The famed scientist’s ultimate conclusion is astonishingly candid, particularly in light of his own professed agnosticism: “For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountain of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.”

No, he appeared in his body. The tomb was verifiably empty. He only had one body.
If the resurrection will follow in the same pattern as Jesus, then doesn't it make sense that if the anointed or any who die have been resurrected yet, their body would have vanished?
Yes
For believers, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". At death, the believer's soul is taken to heaven. At the rapture, the resurrection takes place and NT believers are united with their bodies..... glorified bodies, incorruptible. If alive on earth at that time, they are simply taken to heaven body and all, but changed.

It was a clever move. It was a perfect fit with the Christ-denying heresies of the Watchtower - doctrines of devils.

The law of the land and God’s law through Christ forbid us to kill apostates, even though they be members of our own flesh-and-blood family relationship.
The second clause in that sentence is a non-sequitur. Very strange and manipulative wording.

Nicolaou....I have the maximum freedom that will ever be attained in this universe. And yet, while there is tremendous freedom in Christ, I am paradoxically also a slave.
But nontheless, I have been set free from sin, and it feels AWESOME!
And yes, knowing is a sign of the new birth. If a person doesn't know they are saved, they probably aren't. The Holy Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
I can tell you that this internal witness of the Spirit is profound. While God may at times speak a word or phrase into the spirit of a person directly, not all Christians have this experience. It has happened to me three times. In 60 years of ministry, my pastor stated that on only two occasions could he say God spoke to him.
But, all Christians do have the internal witness of being part of God's family. This is not self delusion, it is tangible, measurable and memorable for the individual. I never had this confirmation as a Witness, even though as a witness I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit a time or two.

The GB act like anytime a group of JW's get together, unless there is an army of supervising elders, it will turn into an orgy.
EndofMysteries hits the nail on the head.
If the Holy Spirit really was involved with JW members, they wouldn't need Gestapo-like supervision. God's Grace, the new personality and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit would be sufficient. The WT tries to copy the real deal through domination. Seig Heil!
