I think that it is fair to say that science has proven that there exists (and not just an illusion or perception of existence) incredibly complex coding languages as well as a biological storage capability that far excedes anything we humans have to date been able to come up with or even hardly imagine. Furthermore, the foundational cornerstone of CHANCE that underpines a naturalistic worldview just gets buried deeper and deeper under the new discoveries of the complexity of how we are existing.

Where did this vast information and complicated storage architecture come from?

So where did the code come from before the "big squeeze" as you put it?

Cofty, they just got the human genome mapped 13 years ago. In 13 years the "junk" went from 98% to 20%. Where do you think the percentage of "junk" will be in 13 more years?

But this all a red herring anyway.

Where did the sophisticated coding languages come from? While you are contemplating that, imagine all the complex hardware needed to read, copy, repair and dissiminate that information. Where did that come from?

The term Junk DNA" has already been abandoned Cofty. A few ideologicaly driven people were able to use the term junk DNA for a few years because it suited their rhetoric. This is no longer the case.

"For years, the vast stretches of DNA between our 20,000 or so protein-coding genes – more than 98% of the genetic sequence inside each of our cells – was written off as "junk" DNA. Already falling out of favour in recent years, this concept will now, with Encode's work, be consigned to the history books.

Encode is the largest single update to the data from the human genome since its final draft was published in 2003 and the first systematic attempt to work out what the DNA outside protein-coding genes does. The researchers found that it is far from useless: within these regions they have identified more than 10,000 new "genes" that code for components that control how the more familiar protein-coding genes work. Up to 18% of our DNA sequence is involved in regulating the less than 2% of the DNA that codes for proteins. In total, Encode scientists say, about 80% of the DNA sequence can be assigned some sort of biochemical function."

On another thread, we've already looked at how after thousands of generations this bacteria is STILL BACTERIA. This does not address the ORIGIN of the coding language, which is the subject of this thread. Where did the coding language come from?

With this new coding language discovery, it appears that this capacity was under-estimated.

Some theoretical scientists would have us believe that the most sophisticated code language(s) known to the most brilliant minds on earth just appeared out of rocks and mud.

When Darwin promoted his theory in the mid 19th century it was assumed that the cell performed a few simple chemical reactions and was not much different than some kind of chemical goo that got its start in a lightning storm. Now we know that the cell has hundreds of irreducible complex interdependent parts and that the computerized guidance system is more complex than anything we can in all our wisdom hardly imagine, much less devise. This is not even mentioning the biological hardware machinery needed to run such coding languages.

Where did all this coding language come from?
