For years you have started these silly posts and they all end up the same.... void of intelligent design (arguments).

Your responses predictably follow two tracts when confronted:

1. Wait on Jehovah (Scientists) - The big shots are working on it.

- Here you tacitly admit that you yourself are clueless. Since you have no science degree of any kind whatsoever, you are forced to rely on (presumably) high school level perceptions where you arbitrarily select experts and ignore the rest. This requires an extraordinary level of credulity far beyond that of simple faith.

2. I have the answer, others have the answer; but you are too ignorant to understand it.

- Here you go to the other extreme and pretend to be too intelligent and so are not required to provide any evidence what-so-ever for your ridiculous claims since no one can understand them.

- But when offered an expenses-paid vacation where you would get your chance to convince a Phd. scientist on your claim that "there is no question that cannot be answered by naturalistic methods"; you turn tail and run away. What new excuse do you have for this latest refusal to back up your claims?

Are you okay living a life where you run away from the readers of your posts like this? What are you trying to accomplish? Many people are no longer swayed by this kind of deception..... not after all the crap we went through with the Watchtower.

My challenges to you still stand:

1. Free trip to Houston to explain evolution to a Phd. Scientist who doesn't understand how it can explain life as we see it.

2. Still waiting on your explanation on how mutations and unguided natural selection can account for the caterpillar melting itself into liquid and growing new organs and body features that include flight capability.

Cofty often resorts to the "Wait on Jehovah" answer that used to get handed to us when he gets questioned.

Cofty's answer often is "They (some unnamed expert they he can rely upon) is working on it". In other words "Wait on Jehovah". He's in the same prison, just different guards.

They hurl insults. They throw pseudoscience BS in your face. They write posts that fold in on themselves and then when you question their spin they tell you that you are stupid and act like babies.

That is true. But to be fair, we all used to engage in that kind of behavior to one degree or another when we were Witnesses. Some people are just "evolving" more slowly than others.

We had absolutely ZERO education in sound biblical doctrine, yet we went to people's doors and acted so cock sure of ourselves. When they said anything about heaven, we railed on them about the "paradise earth" and regarded them as ignorant, uneducated, sappy silly-headed buffoons.

We never even paused for a moment to consider that ALL CHRISTIANS already believed in a paradise earth.....they just call it the Millennium Reign instead.

We all signed on to someone else' research and bought it hook line and sinker because it "had the ring of truth" as my father used to say.

Cofty has simply drilled out of one prison cell into another one. He miscalculated and bored through the wrong wall. He is inside of another illusion based on someone else's research, Why? Because he has no formal scientific education himself to perform his own tests. It is a familiar environment for him. It just feels right to him.

But Cofty has deeper issues than the average parroting ideologue. Virtually everyone including Bill Gates likens DNA to a code. The DNA code even has another code on top on the four letter one. Years ago I asked Cofty where did the code come from. He simply stated that it really wasn't a code, it just acted like one and looked like one. I guess that had the "ring of truth" to him. For Cofty, truth is not a concern, it is all about the semantics. Mind numbing.

Anyway, my offer still stands.

Cofty, if you change your mind, just IM me and I will call the professor and see if he is willing to make good on his offer to be educated by someone regarding evolution. This could be your chance to really make a name for yourself. (Not to mention get a free vacation out of the deal.)

I suspect that you wont mind a little audio/video right? Looks like some of your friends here are counting on you.

So I guess that means you decline my offer and the offer of Dr. Tours. I was really looking forward to meeting you. I guess I'm not really surprised. Your lack of formal education in science would be quite embarrassingly evident when engaging in any kind of meaningful dialogue with someone who actually does makes molecules for a living. It also forces you to rely on others research.

How is that different than what we all did with the WT's "research" at one time?

It's Rice University in Houston for goodness sakes. I grew up there. I promise to pay all the bills, take you to some fantastic restaurants, tour NASA with you.

All you have to do is explain how macro-evolution (molecules to man evolution) works to someone who really does have the education that you so often claim you wish others had. (Even though you have ZERO such education yourself).

I'm in the construction industry. Dr. Tours "makes molecules" for a living. I'm curious, what do you do for a living?

Let me tell you what goes on in the back rooms of science – with National Academy members, with Nobel Prize winners. I have sat with them, and when I get them alone, not in public – because it’s a scary thing, if you say what I just said – I say, “Do you understand all of this, where all of this came from, and how this happens?” Every time that I have sat with people who are synthetic chemists, who understand this, they go “Uh-uh. Nope.” These people are just so far off, on how to believe this stuff came together. I’ve sat with National Academy members, with Nobel Prize winners. Sometimes I will say, “Do you understand this?”And if they’re afraid to say “Yes,” they say nothing. They just stare at me, because they can’t sincerely do it.

I was once brought in by the Dean of the Department, many years ago, and he was a chemist. He was kind of concerned about some things. I said, “Let me ask you something. You’re a chemist. Do you understand this? How do you get DNA without a cell membrane? And how do you get a cell membrane without a DNA? And how does all this come together from this piece of jelly?” We have no idea, we have no idea. I said, “Isn’t it interesting that you, the Dean of science, and I, the chemistry professor, can talk about this quietly in your office, but we can’t go out there and talk about this?”

If you understand evolution, I am fine with that. I’m not going to try to change you – not at all. In fact, I wish I had the understanding that you have.

But about seven or eight years ago I posted on my Web site that I don’t understand. And I said, “I will buy lunch for anyone that will sit with me and explain to me evolution, and I won’t argue with you until I don’t understand something – I will ask you to clarify. But you can’t wave by and say, “This enzyme does that.”
You’ve got to get down in the details of where molecules are built, for me. Nobody has come forward.
The Atheist Society contacted me. They said that they will buy the lunch, and they challenged the Atheist Society, “Go down to Houston and have lunch with this guy, and talk to him.” Nobody has come! Now remember, because I’m just going to ask, when I stop understanding what you’re talking about, I will ask. So I sincerely want to know. I would like to believe it. But I just can’t.

For someone who has zero scientific training, higher scientific education or professional experience in the sciences, I think you have done an excellent job in posting (for the umpteenth time) a synopsis of other peoples' work. Thanks for the reminder that your views haven't changed.

Also as a reminder, thousands of Phd. credentialed scientists & professionals disagree with you and your sources conclusions. Their views haven't changed either, and that really is a fact.

Of course. There is some truth is probably most religions just as there is some truth in most philosophies. They are just not the Source of Truth. ANY group professing ANY ideology is led by human leaders, and that is where we get into trouble, believing in humans.
