No part of the world
by Lost in the fog inthe wt calls itself christian while at the same time insisting that its witnesses don't mix with other christian groups but remain separate.. to be no part of the world.. i was mulling this over recently in my personal bible reading.
in the first century that demarcation would have made sense because apart from your fellow worshippers the rest of mankind were going to be jewish, roman, polytheistic, pagan, or (i guess much like today) didn't really care.. christians had no worries about meeting up with other people who believed in jesus the same as they did even if there were minor differences depending on who had first taught the gospel message to them.
but nowadays there's not just one christian group against the world, there's lots of "christians" out there.

Is the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses REALLY the "faithful and discreet slave" of Matt. 24:45-47?
by Roger Kirkpatrick inthesis: when someone who is given a responsibility mistakes that responsibility for authority, bullying is very likely to occur.. jesus spoke an illustration recorded at matthew 24: 45-51 which well illustrates this thesis.. jesus asked, “who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over all his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?
happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so.
truly i say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings.

Also, the Gibbering Body has the utmost contempt for Christ Jesus by implicitly claiming a description only assigned in scriptures to him, namely, that they also will be like Melchizedek - king/priests.
The NWT copied the wording of the KJV which says "kings" at Revelation 5:10, whereas other translations such as the NIV say "kingdom."
But of course, it's common knowledge that the NWT perverted their own Kingdom Interlinear Translation twice in that one verse - kings instead of kingdom, and over the earth instead of upon it. (see Psalm 45:16)

Why was BBC News reader Huw Edwards wearing a dark suit & black tie - hours earlier - when announcing that the Queen was "ill?"
He was applying one of the Operation London Bridge protocols for when she died.

Did anyone else notice? BBC News presenter Huw Edwards was wearing a dark suit and black tie several hours before Her Majesty's death was announced.

Breaking news. Masks

Said it before - peer-reviewed studies and common sense says that face-masks CANNOT prevent infection or transmission of viruses. It was total propaganda - nothing else.
Why do people working with viruses wear N.B.C. suits - if face-masks offer protection? Duh!

Two Bible teachings JW's DON'T know about....
by BoogerMan in....but the november 2022 study watchtower will definitely instruct them.. 1) god's name is jehovah!.
2) jehovah is using an earthly organization to do his will - not jesus!.
in study article 45, 'jehovah' is mentioned at least 60 times.

@ SeaBreeze: the verse you cited - 2 Timothy 3:16 - appears to have various Bible translators giving very different interpretations of it. Take your pick of which 'expert' to trust.

Just a question: anyone got any idea why the Watchtower alternates between "His organization" and "his organization" (capital 'H' and lower case 'h' when referring to God) in the November 2022 Study Watchtower?

....but the November 2022 Study Watchtower will definitely instruct them.
1) God's name is JEHOVAH!
2) Jehovah is using an EARTHLY ORGANIZATION to do His will - not JESUS!
In Study Article 45, 'Jehovah' is mentioned at least 60 times.
In Study Article 46, 'Jehovah' is mentioned at least 66 times.
In Study Article 47, 'Jehovah' is mentioned at least 59 times.
In Study Article 48, 'Jehovah' is mentioned at least 43 times.
In Study Article 46, "His organization" is highlighted 3 times, in paragraphs 9 + 11.
In Study Article 47, "His organization" is highlighted 14 times, in paragraphs 1,2,3,4,5,8,13,14,15,16,17, while "Jehovah's organization" is highlighted 3 times in paragraphs 5,8, &19.
In Study Article 48, "His organization" is highlighted 11 times, in paragraphs 1,2,3,8,9,16, and "Jehovah's organization" is highlighted 3 times in paragraphs 11,14,& 15.
"God's organization" and "the organization" are each highlighted once in paragraphs 13 & 14.
Jesus said, “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth," (Matthew 28:18) but as the king & leader of Christians, he merits being mentioned only 5 times in all 4 Study Articles - twice in Study Article 46, once in Study Article 47, and twice in Study Article 45.

Hi Kosonen, I wonder what you think about this view of "the great tribulation."
It totally conflicts with the terrifying depiction which the org churns out to the sheeple - to keep them obedient to the cult.
The angel in conversation with the apostle John mentions an event early on, and then refers to the same event again just a few minutes later:
Revelation 2:22 - “Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.” (NKJV)
Revelation 7:14 - And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, [the same one I spoke of, about 6 minutes ago] and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” (NKJV)
In other words, it applies to a time when Christians will be tested, no one else - no mass destruction.
