WRONG Bible wordings #3
by BoogerMan in3) 1 timothy 2:5 - for there is one god, and one mediator between god and men, a man, christ jesus.... wtbts: this is another example of not enough information being supplied by the apostle paul.
he should have written, "for there is..one mediator between god and only 144,000 men...".
the org's type/antitype of the exodus foreigners & the other sheep not being in the 2 covenants and not having jesus as their mediator is totally debunked by deuteronomy 29:10-15 & ezekiel 47:21-23. .

Are Paul and Peter really comfortable with the amount of their research, before joining the Southern Baptist Convention?
by was a new boy inboth went from jw land to the southern baptist convention.. yes, we're all tribal, do some just say, 'to hell with it, i'll just roll the dice?'.
southern baptists have some real problems on how they've handled child sex abuse cases.. .

WRONG Bible wordings #2
by BoogerMan in2) (revelation 20:5) (the rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were ended.
) this is the first resurrection.. wtbts: the term "come to life" is actually figurative and does not mean the literal resurrection of the dead.. there are 2 destinations for all those who are resurrected - some go to heaven, but most stay on earth.
also, both resurrections will occur at approximately the same time - at the commencement of the millenium.. revelation 20:5 states that the 2nd resurrection doesn't occur until after the 1000 years have ended, thereby rendering it a later resurrection.

2) (Revelation 20:5) (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.
WTBTS: The term "come to life" is actually figurative and does not mean the literal resurrection of the dead.
There are 2 destinations for all those who are resurrected - some go to heaven, but most stay on earth. Also, both resurrections will occur at approximately the same time - at the commencement of the millenium.
Revelation 20:5 states that the 2nd resurrection doesn't occur until after the 1000 years have ended, thereby rendering it a later resurrection.
The apostle Paul hoped that he would be raised in the earlier & better resurrection, the one which all the pre-Christian faithful ones in Hebrews 11 believed they would be given. Clearly, two separate resurrections for all those with an "earthly" hope, and occuring many years apart.
(Philippians 3:10, 11) ...to see if at all possible I may attain to the earlier resurrection from the dead.
(Hebrews 11:35) ....in order that they might attain a better resurrection.
Such ones - along with everyone who ever put faith in the Messiah - will share in the 1st resurrection, as Paul stated:
(1 Thessalonians 4:16) "...because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first."
Those not "in union with Christ" will be in the later resurrection - 1000 years later, and will almost certainly be the majority of those mentioned at Revelation 20:7-9.
If there is no resurrection at the end of the 1000 years and all bad people are being routinely destroyed during the millenium - as per Isaiah 65:20-22 - then where do the multitudes of wicked people in Revelation 20:7-9 come from if everyone has finally "grown to perfection?"

WRONG Bible wordings..........
by BoogerMan in1) (john 5:29) ...those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
wtbts: the past tense used in the wording of john 5:28 is not what it seems to be, and should be read in the future tense, "will do" and "will practice.".
g 1/10 p. 11 - will the judgment of resurrected ones be based on what they did before their death?
-
BoogerMan
....according to "the slave."
1) (John 5:29) ...those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
WTBTS: The past tense used in the wording of John 5:28 is not what it seems to be, and should be read in the future tense, "will do" and "will practice."
g 1/10 p. 11 - Will the judgment of resurrected ones be based on what they did before their death? No. The Bible teaches that “he who has died has been acquitted from his sin.” (Romans 6:7) So, like those who survive the end of this system, those resurrected to life on earth will be judged “according to their deeds” during Judgment Day. [the millenium]
rs p. 338 par. 1 - Both those who formerly did good things and those who formerly practiced bad things will be “judged individually according to their deeds.” What deeds? If we were to take the view that people were going to be condemned on the basis of deeds in their past life, that would be inconsistent with Romans 6:7.
(their false teaching of Romans 6:7 is used to bolster other false teachings)

@ Rattigan350 - "Once it (144,000???) is resurrected to heaven."
Are you agreeing with the org's lies that Jesus wasn't a "corresponding ransom" (1 Tim. 2:6) and that he didn't save exactly what was lost by Adam, (Luke 19:10) but rather, his perfect life bought back far more than what Adam lost - i.e. eternal life on earth for the majority, plus 144,000 Melchizedeks promoted to heaven?
None of Adam's prospective descendents lost out on a heavenly hope - not one!!!!!
How could that balance the "scales of justice?"

re chap. 27 p. 180 par. 13 - At the same time, the woman (God's heavenly organization!) flees to a place that God has prepared for her in the wilderness.
(Revelation 12:6) And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God and where they would feed her for 1,260 days.
Why would God's heavenly organization (the woman) be so afraid of Satan, and flee?
Sorry G.B., we need a "new light on this one!
Here's a clue: the nation of Israel, followed by the "Israel of God."
Hosea 2:2 - "Accuse your mother; [Israel] accuse her, For she is not my wife [woman] and I am not her husband. She should remove her prostitution from herself."
