Since governments' logic was to quarantine all healthy people in order to suppress the virus, I suggest they don't just put criminals into prisons in future, jail everyone in society - that'll suppress crime.

are independently making or changing the covid 19 lockdown laws/rules to suit themselves... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52600708.
garden centres are opening in wales on monday, in england on wednesday, but by the looks of things, are far too dangerous to open them anytime soon in scotland or n.i.

BB, it looks like the proposed "testing" will not be done on doorsteps, but actually in homes. We'll soon see, if the proposal becomes law.
Sadly, I've seen how some individuals have reacted to being assigned "power" to control queues of customers at stores. A bit like JW elders.

Sweden seems to have survived very well without having to impose house-arrest on its population.
Swedes have largely been trusted to take personal accountability for their own & others' health & welfare by using common sense. Treated like adults.
He also says, "'The is the worst interference with personal liberty in our history. For what is by historical standards not a very serious pandemic except for particular categories of vulnerable people who can isolate themselves voluntarily."

LOL Cofty. Your inability to answer a straightforward question, combined with a serious deficiency in social skills and respect for others, is evidence that you don't belong here since you are not conforming to the claimed mission of this site which says it provides "a friendly, tolerant and informative environment."
What is your real motive for being on an ex-JW site? Because as a "member," you are clearly not friendly, definitely not tolerant, and bereft of information for a discussion.

Yes, back in the real world - you never answered the question. Are you just trolling, because you're only criticising. You haven't offered anything constructive to the discussion.
Here's your chance: what great wisdom/solutions can you share with us which will save thousands of residents from premature deaths? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52631604
