They can't have it it both ways: "Christ began ruling in 1914, but he didn't start reigning then." 😂😂😂

The org always wants to speak out of both sides of its mouth.

Spoiler alert for JW's: Christ's reign began in 33 C.E. when he became priest/king at his ascension. (Hebrews 6:20 - "Jesus, who has become a high priest according to the manner of Melchizedek forever.")

The "1000 years" referred to at Revelation 20:4,6 are the final years of Christ's reign when believers/Christians will eventually "reign" - upon the earth, - βασιλεύω - to reign, of the governor of a province, of the reign of Christians in the millennium. (see Psalm 45:16 & Rev. 5:10 K.I.T.)

After the 1000 years unbelievers will be resurrected - as stated at Revelation 20:5 - and not as the org perversely claims, during the 1,000-year reign.

These are the ones who will be tested, not the believers who "reigned" for 1000 years in peace.

Therefore, we are now 109 years into the millennium, with only another 891 years left to go.

Why didn't anyone tell me that I'd missed these two major events? -

(Revelation 20:2) He seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for 1,000 years.

(Revelation 20:4) And they came to life (resurrected) and ruled as kings with the Christ for 1,000 years.

Spoiler: w82 4/1 p. 24 par. 14 - "Since all “the rest of the dead” that are resurrected during* Christ’s 1,000-year reign...."

* Revelation 20:5 - "The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were ended."

I thought the Biblical implication was that BTG was a powerful entity with which God's people (Christians) were unwittingly embedded with, hence the warning, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues." (Rev. 18:4)

Christians don't generally have any affiliation/loyalty to Big Pharma, IMO.

ok i'll bite.. let's say for a moment that jehovah's witnesses are right, and that the nt autographs (the originals) contained the tetragrammaton.let's say that the nt writers always wrote "jehovah" in greek (iexoba, as the witnesses spell it currently) when they quoted the hebrew scriptures, whether they quoted from the hebrew version or the septuagint, and jehovah's name appeared on the quote.

let's say that the original septuagint always had iexoba whenever they were referring to jehovah.then we have that the original septuagint said in psalms 101:26-28 the following:"at the beginning it was you, o jehovah, who founded the earth, and the heavens are works of your hands.

1) Do you disagree/believe this: Matthew 20:28 - “‘For this is how the Son of Man came… Not to be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

2) Do you disagree/believe this: 1 Timothy 2:5, 6 - "...a man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all."

3) Do you disagree/believe this: 1st Corinthians 15:21,22,45 - Jesus replaced Adam as mankind's life-giving ancestor, with the whole human race owing their life to him, not to Adam. That will include everyone who is resurrected, and all those who survive the end. Isaiah 9:6 confirms this, by prophetically calling Jesus, “Everlasting Father.”

If Jesus' ransom corresponds to what Adam lost, it logically follows (if your claim is true) that Adam himself must have been "fully God & fully man," otherwise, Jesus' ransom price was far, far, greater than what Adam forfeited, and not "corresponding.".

Have you ever heard of such an anomaly with a ransom?

When can a ransom repurchase price ever be greater or lesser than what was lost?

If you can, please provide scriptural references if you disagree with anything here.

last time i was really active on here i just found out ttbtt.. i was 28 at the time and now im 33. a lot has gone on but im finally able to live my life.

have my own apartment, steady job, a dog.

a big event that recently happened was a little of a year and a half ago my jw mom passed away.. i hadn't talked to her in over a year prior and i almost didn't go see her before she did.

7 years ago my only siblings - both JW's - combined & colluded to notify me that I was no longer their relative, because I was saying "negative things" about their Golden Calf. (Love, eh? John 13:35)

"By extension," all of my nieces & nephews followed suit.

There are other people in the world - decent people. Go out and build new & better relationships.
