Sort of like "dealt with" and other mob-like euphemisms.
"Marking" as a term gives me bad vibes. It reminds me of "pointing the bone":

i was "marked" at one point in the WT KH

it had nothing to do with being "immoral" or what they say in their publications

i was "marked" for exposing stuff the wt hierarchy was doing

once you know what goes on, you can't "get out" without "consequences"

while i would never consider charles taze russell "altruistic"

(that dude was sooooo gross and conviving)

many of the rank-and-file people who were duped into following him

have had the most altruistic intentions

Do we have "original" indipendent documents proving that Rutherford was an alcoholic?

i was wondering if you could prove with "original" independent documents that rutherford was an alcoholic.... .

i read penton, but since he is a former jw he could not be considered an independent source.... .

if adam and eve couldn't obey even a simple command about not touching a fruit despite not lacking a thing and not being hungry

i wonder how they would have faired with a command about not taking part in child pornography

seems the fruit was an easier boundary

who would defend the lowly instead of attacking them

a wise man protects innocent ones

did you skip the first two chapters of genesis?

notice how the word "day" is used:

they did die "that day"

we're still in "that day" and adam and eve aren't around because they're dead

god doesn't lie
