i see people doing stupid things that involve risking their life for jobs that don't even pay that much or some other sillines, like not giving up a car to an armed robber.. relate incidents where this has happened and name some things that you'd risk life and limb over.. m'.

I was trained to shoot to kill, if I was convinced that another person was about to take a life.
As to whether I would risk my life, several things would direct me.
Can I succeed? What are the odds?
How did this person get into this situation?
I was trained that self sacrifice was not expected.
If it is loved ones, most likely I would try.
I view myself as deserving life and respect that.
There were and may be other events where I did not take the risk.

i feel really embarrassed when i walk my dog down the street, as i know i wiggle but cant help it.
it really seems to have gone out of fashion, a while a go ( ok years ago) when i was young every young girl tried to wiggle when she walked but now they dont know the word!!!
they just seem to show off their bellies and forget the rear!.
I don't know of any guy who is alive, that doesn't love the wiggle wiggle walk.
All this reminds me of a time when I and the family went to a convention and that night went to a rather nice resturant.
They had a hostess that looked like she was in her late teens or early twenties,
Quite nice looking and she had the wiggle down good.
She picked up the menues and started to lead us to the table. When she did she said " please walk this way please".
I couldn't resist and said " I don't think I can walk like that".
She stiffened up and didn't say another word.
My ex wife got all pissed off and snarled something at me. My kids started laughing and I did too.
That made the ex even angrier. Then she loudly accused me of "flirting".
She never had any sense of humor.

Yes Trevor and U/D and Maveric I know what you are saying is right. I need to take time off and give it a rest. I never intended to just leave and not return.
There are things in my life, that at the age of 70 is hard to deal with. My wife has been diagnosed with diabetes and at this point at least the meds etc. don't seem to be working.
She has a son in his thirtys that is on drugs and and won't work and I have a son in his thirtys and is in prison for a while. This and the other family members who still shun me makes it hard to be happy. So I detatch and stay away from them and this also is hard to do. I watch my wife suffer with the fears for her son and I can only offer suggestions as help.
Some times this fucking life just sucks and looking down the path to my own 10 or 15 yrs of life left for me is almost more than I can handle. Suicide is not an option and running away is not an option so I am left with just hang in there and do my best. I have always been a strong muscular man and I can see and feel that drifting away also.
I wish that fucking Jehovah would really take some care for his creations. Oh I forgot, he doesn't exist. Guess he got df'd also.

Ya know Minimouse when some one has a problem in their life and brings it here to this forum, there are usually several who post their condolences and offer helpful suggestions.
These people are sincere and want to help their fellow man. They are willing to take the time to really be of some use to these unfortunate people.
I may have missed some but I have never seen you ever offering help to those that asked for help in dealing with a problem.
You remind me of the jw elders who walk by and make some degrading remark to another jw without stopping to hear a reply or really offer help. Such as "Why dont you contribute more to make this place more satisfying?" Out of all the members that replied to my post, YOU are the only one with an ignorant sarcastic approach.
Then you follow up with " ouch well good riddance then!"
Typical jw elder response. Offer no helpful discussion, just discard, df them.
In this world there are takers and givers. You are not a giver.
You have no room to criticize me or anyone until you start to contribute to helping others who bring their problems to this forum for help.
