Are Jehovahs Witnesses false prophets
by joe134cd ini thought this was a very interesting argument by robert king.
i liked the point he made about if israel had a prophet who spoke in the name of jehovah and it did not occur did this mean that the nation of israel was a false prophet or more so if the nation of israel sincerely believed it.
the answer to that is a resounding no because the nation of israel was god’s appointed nation.

Is Child Abuse An Issue That You Personally Have Seen In The Organization?
by minimus inas an elder, i saw one child abuse situation involving a man who wanted to be an elder and had i believe 8 children.
he was not in our congregation when this all erupted.
he denied it and moved to another hall and unbelievably, that body of elders wanted to appoint him since they believed his entire family was lying about him.

One elder in my old hall was disfellowshipped for molesting boys. Another 'brother' who was in our current hall was charged and imprisoned for historical abuse of several girls including his grand daughter. He was at one time an elder (the elders in several halls never reported this pervert to the police)

Was CT Russell a freemason or not

i have read articles whereby some have found no evidence to prove he was one at any point in his life.. however, given all the masonic symbols in the early publications including the use of the name jehovah ( the name the freemason's use to identify god), as well as the expressions used such as 'new world, new order' etc certainly raises suspicions.. then there is the article he wrote in the herald magazine outlining that he was a freemason (see the following video 40 seconds in).
it really does make you think!.

Many people deny CT Russell was a freemason. I have read articles whereby some have found no evidence to prove he was one at any point in his life.
However, given all the masonic symbols in the early publications including the use of the name Jehovah ( the name the Freemason's use to identify God), as well as the expressions used such as 'new world, new order' etc certainly raises suspicions.

it's been my place of support for over seventeen years and it's the first online space i direct anyone to if they are taking steps out of the cult.
i am not bashing jwn - i love this place and appreciate the hard work and expense simon puts in to keep it going.

I was going to write something similar to your OP. I tend to watch YouTube these days as more and more issues are discussed around watchtower. Occasionally, I come to Jwn, but find a lot of 'other stuff' being discussed and can't be bothered. Not sure if topics running dry as a result of the slow lack of change within the watchtower society, resulting in other topics out with watchtower being raised instead?

Thanks for sharing this. The watchtower corporations flawed policy on child safeguarding, coupled with their arrogant attitude toward the authorities and media has led to this inevitable situation they now find themselves in. They are their own worst enemy!

Isn't it crazy how we only find out such information from leaked videos. The lack of transparency in relation to finances from this secretive religious organisation is appalling. A red flag indeed
