Dangerous promotion of 'Serving where the need is Greater'
by eyeslice2 inboth the june and july broadcasts featured sections about serving where the need is greater.
as i recall, my wife watches them as i hover in the background, india and thailand have both been heavily featured.
next, i hear some friends talking about how they are thinking of moving to india.

I heard a very similar story. Crazy gossipy fools spread make believe, fake news... just like the smurf stories and two sister out in the ministry who had an angel behind them protecting them from a murderer at the house they called on.
It was all just urban JW legends!

did you know?the 1st case heard by the supreme court of the united states concerning the watchtower society involved a director (an officer) of the watchtower, william franklyn hudgings.. a brief description of hudgings and his character.hudgings was an attorney, quack doctor, self-identified ‘scientist’, a pro-zionist, and religious enthusiast who over the years held various director and officer positions in the watchtower society, and the affiliated people's pulpit association and international bible students association.
at the time of this particular case, william hudgings acknowledged being the corporate secretary of the people's pulpit association and acknowledged that his daily duties included the administrative charge of printing of the watchtower magazine, the bible student's monthly, the kingdom news, and other watchtower publications.. (hudgings was also re-elected to the watchtower society board of directors in january 1919.

The sad thing is, I"ve tried my whole life to talk to people of all religions and they’ve been patient and understanding and even admitted I’ve made good points. You people won’t give an inch even when you know I’m right because that would just be so bad. So detrimental to your beliefs. So why do I bother? Guess I won’t anymore. There. You’re rid of me. You can go back to your JW bashing in this forum with no JWs to set people straight on our beliefs. Just like you all like it.

Flat Earth and Jw. Not possible?

im a jw and in the last three years i have studied a lot the topic of the earth being flat.
i have a good scientific background so im not stupid or crazy.

I’ve been following this crazyness for some time now. The article was written by an intern who claims to be a rising senior at Yale but looks about 12 years old. Much of what he says is nonsense simply regurgitated from his subjects with no fact checking, something which should have been caught by the editor.
The flat earth scam peaked a year or two back but still manages to scoop up some of the least intelligent and most gullible denizens of YouTube who are often persuaded to part with a few bucks by the FE gurus.
It’s quite an indictment of our education systems when there are people out there who can be convinced that gravity does not exist and all of NASA’s imigery is fake. They even believe that the ISS is not in space but is a CGI green screen production studio somewhere in the desert.

We are similar in our experiences in God with one exception I was the prodigal son... I had no abuse and was my sin that I left for! I came also to the same conclusion from full experience with sins, even to the perversions of some sins... I know the death that they lead into and that there is NO LIFE in them!
