  i chose world events as a topic because it was the only one that seemed fitting enough.

  i left work early (if you can call 445-3 early) so i could get some shopping done, fill up, grab a scratcher for the wife and be on my way home.

  after i filled the tank i strolled into the tiny room of the gas station, to find myself behind an argument just started.

  this is not simply an oversight, for it does record two birthday celebrations by those not serving god.

  like the video said, they have to listen to Jehovah's direction! aka GB...or be treated like they don't have good sense which the video portrayed with the emotional blackmail and guilt tripping...

  They slip in it is direction from Jehovah! and to OBEY... How are they not aiding and abetting the mass killings, and injuries from the shots that they emotionally blackmailed and coerced JWs into. I don't get it that people can't see through the manipulation. They put the GB before Jehovah. I have no stomach for it.

  Where it all went wrong for the WT - JF Rutherford

  i was thinking a bit about this the other day.

  ct russell, from what i remember about him, kinda seemed like a genuine, nice(ish) guy, although he had a few eccentric but harmless ideas.. during the russell era jws (actually bible students) could still celebrate christmas, worship in other churches if there was no kingdom hall available, and accept blood transfusions.. then after russell died, along came rutherford - a major league a-hole, for sure.. rutherford had plenty of eccentric ideas but at least some of them weren't/aren't harmless.

  some have been long forgotten about - jesus depicted without a beard, the plan to rename the names of the week because names such as thursday (thor's day) is pagan, the articles about the 'dangers' of aluminium, etc.. one key contribution of rutherford which does a lot of harm is no blood transfusions, even in life-threatening situations.. another is shunning, something which never occurred under russell, or at least was much milder.. rutherford has a lot to answer for, i reckon ....

  Anna Marina " out by the grace of God" it must be so...why do I see things now that others refused to see...I wasn't looking for anything. I wasn't viewing apostate sites. I always told myself if ever I could really pin point something I knew was wrong I would leave ( and once I pinpointed it, I was making excuses --looking for reasons to not leave-but once you see it, you can't unsee it.)

  Jehovah`s Witness Elders who were Business men in The Congregations I Attended.

  a number of topics have covered work experiences by members who have encountered crticism for having a full time job .in the last few congregations i had attended this was never an issue as elders had businesses they owned and employed brothers and sisters .. while i personally never worked for a jw, both my young sons did at one time or another and my wife did also .i have always worked full time in secular employment and have never been criticised for doing so .and to my knowledge nobody else ever had that experience.. in the first cong.i attended an po as they were called at the time was an insurance agent and his bro.

  was an assistant po also worked with the same ins,agency.. other congs,i attended one elder was an owner of a cabinet making firm while about 3 other different elders were self employed builders who ran their own business and employed others to work for them .. at the same time a couple of ms servants had their own plastering business going on supporting these elders business.. so i`m just wondering whether this is just depending on where you are from in the world and what time period we are talking about.. the time i`m talking about was in the sixties and seventies and the area was in s.e.

  foolednomore, if you can afford to, give the MS's a raise and not the elder --and go ahead and cut his hours as he goes home early. Mom always said those who don't listen have to feel...I bet he would get the message!

  I am thinking Beth Serim...if I spelled that correctly...what a bill of goods that got sold so Rutherford could go and live there with a woman who was there to "massage"...call me a sceptic! We were instructed to look at origins when it came to holidays, etc...If people applied the same counsel to the beginnings of WT, they wise up. I can't believe how gullible I was for 50 years.

  I am still listening to In Search of Christian Freedom by raymond Franz...He has written about brothers in business And Like Foolednomore,he was writing about brothers who didn't treat their employees welll...but it worked both ways because in some instances the employees who were JW weren't as productive and caused more issues. I think both parties have a right to expect to be treated fairly-because they are Christian, right! It is almost laughable.

  according to news reports, the polio virus has been spreading in ny waters since april of this year.

  polio is a crippling disease that affects the bones.

  i actually know someone that had polio and is crippled shrinking the length of his arm and leg.

  I believe when it all falls out there is going to be a huge link between polio outbreak and the poison shots! hide and watch and connect the dots. this polio outcome has been predicted...how did they know if not planted? ( loving my tin hat!)
