at a convention, we were told about a sister who had a fulltime job, 5 children and pioneered...( I'm thinking something has to give--)( when would there be time for the children, for housekeeping?- kids were looking after each other and doing the cooking and cleaning???) And the Bible tells us not to be comparing ourselves with others, but for what reason would the WT have such an experience if not to cause you to compare yourself and guilt-trip you?

Dumb 'experiences' you were told as a JW
by BettyHumpter inthis one stands out in my mind.
it was reported that 'a brother', unnamed of course, was out in field service and was set upon by a pack of vicious dogs.
he made it back to the car and was injured quite badly with his arms, hands and leg bleeding heavily.

vaxxed and blood transfusions
by enoughisenough insome did the vaccines..some didn't...some will accept a blood transfusion, some won't ...here is something to consider if you didn't want the vaccines, but you would accept a transfusion.
i was reading comments from the "world" in under a video i had watched ( see link,) one of the comments ( have to scroll a good ways to find the comments about it ) is to the effect, they don't separate what blood came from those vaxxed and those who weren't ...so if you get a transfusion, you are getting the vaxx tainted blood.
"good health to you".

neat blue dog..... "The two don't even relate." I would agree the two should not relate, but beings so many have the mRNA injections which have already killed and injured many and the unknown longer term side effects, given one doesn't know whether you would be getting the mRNA in a transfusion or not, it seems to me it would be another factor to consider when considering your medical options.

Who’s gonna mow your grass
by solomon inhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xixc6aqrozq.
what most jehovah’s witnesses don’t realize about their version of the new system is who’s gonna mow the grass?.
after the system is destroyed who’s gonna make that nail your pounding with a hammer?

you won't need to mow the grass...the lions will be eating it as the bulls ( just making this up as i go! ) ( I would be willing to barter some sewing for grass mowing )

question/s for the PIMO
by enoughisenough into maintain the facade of being a jw, when doing the ministry, are you not advocating for the gb?
the bible studies, after all are to get people to understand they can't gain life without the "faithful slave" ( you have to be baptized as jw to survive) .how does it make you feel?
if you are parroting an answer in a paragraph that you know is wrong, how does it make you feel?

I watched the video about the woman who was DF without proper meetings and notice. When I was thinking about just fading slowly, I also thought that sooner or later they would be showing up trying to "snatch me from a perceived fire." , so I decided to make if official...others have a more complicated situation than I did...( and whereas the sister in the video didn't seem to be "talking out of school" to others, I was vocal about the scriptures that were being twisted to support the vaxx. ( in fact, within a couple of months before I wrote my letter, a couple of elders did call me to "get to know me better"....I felt like why now after over 10 years.)

'a jehovah’s witness who partnered with a couple he trusted based on their shared faith is suing them over ownership of a religion-themed gift shop in orange county.. greg holland of victoria, british columbia, claims in a federal lawsuit that thomas and nanci matos of pine bush, coerced him into relinquishing his property.. “through deceit and intimidation, the matoses stole holland’s investment and interest in ministry ideaz llc,” the complaint states.

I personally always had a bad taste in my mouth for businesses like his. It seems there was another such business years ago before ministry ideaz. Here is why I didn't like it: the idea was to profit off of what one considered their worldwide brothers and sisters. (that isn't horrible as we all need to make a living, but it was a targotted group ) The other thing is, it seemed sort of a "clout " in the congregations--keeping up with the Jones. I think some liked to sport the products because it made them seem more theocratic...special literature bags, special time keeping book, special book markers, whatever...Anyway, to me it was an exploitation on the end of the sellar and a showy display on the buyer's end. I never personally bought anything, but I was given a Bible with the song, and reasoning book all bound together. So anyway, some made a point of having all their books rebound. ("look what I can afford!" ) It seemed there was some unspoken rule, that if you were anybody in the JW, you would be carrying specific bags, etc. I wonder if anyone else ever felt that way.

Does Religion have any place in the modern world?
by Fisherman inceremoneys, costumes, spending time in church listenning the same thing again and again, forced to believe in things that cannot be proven.
code or mindset that seperates you from others, wars, violence,....

WTWizard reminded me of the serpent in the garden. There seems to be something innate in man that makes him want to worship some god or other...even if it is a piece of wood they carve and say it is their god, so I don't think religion is going away.

Starting September 01, 2022, the Angels will help in the ministry work
by RULES & REGULATIONS in2022 governing body update # 6. what exciting news david splane has for all jehovah's witnesses ( who for the last three years were spared the house-to-house preaching work ) '' that we'll return to the ministry september 01, 2022. just in time for our world wide campaign to start bible studies.
and, i'm sure the angels are excited too, because it will give them opportunities to help us with our ministry.''.
not only will the witnesses be rusty in their return to the field ministry, the angels in heaven have been sitting idle while the pandemic stopped the house-to-house ministry.

Shunning Disfellowshipped & Apostate family Members. Scriptural?
by objectivetruth inanyone who is a witness or was previously a witness, is aware of the written & un-written rules concerning association with disfellowshipped family members.. there are a multitude of quotes through out the watchtower publications, but these 2 will suffice.. "are you proving yourself holy by not associating with family members or others who are disfellowshipped?
"the clear instruction in the bible is: avoid them.
that means that we have to stay away from them... the bible says that apostates are mentally diseased and that they use their teachings to make others think like them... what must we do to avoid false teachers?

In 1980-81, Mr x was disfellowshipped. He told me the congregation was treating me like I had been disfellowshipped. That was true..it was like they didn't know how to treat me, so they didn't bother at all. He was reinstated and eventually became an elder. ( I heard him say the only time he was happy was away from the Hall.) The rest of the story: he left when I was presenting proof I had grounds for scriptual divorce. While he was there, the other elders were patting him on the back, saying he had done nothing wrong and I was being ostracized and a needs talk was given about women who became independent and wanted to get rid of their husbands.

smiles--thank you for your commentary. I personally am grateful to those who have stayed inside that have leaked valuable information. I personally felt guilty! Everyone has to pick their battles. Some have more to loose than others as far as housing, jobs, family are concerned. Kudos to the ones who can stomach it. It can't be easy for them.
