  ? Question for EX-JW grandfathers. What life advice would you give to your grandchildren and your younger self. ?

  i read an interesting interview with billionaire warren buffet's sidekick, billionaire charlie munger.

  good read, this grandpa agrees 1000% with his advice.

  i wish i had learned earlier to realize almost everyone lies...(sometimes to themselves) but especially, all politicians and religious leaders.. what advice would you as a grandparent add?".

  " write your obituary".... I have thought of that and may actually do it. I have no children or grandchildren, but if I were to tell someone that I consider useful, it would be to listen, really listen to what someone is saying....even if in a joking matter. I believe what the Bible says about out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Yes, people will endeavor to fool you with pretty words...that is why it is important to listen to what they may say in jest. EX: a man in front of his wife, supposablly in jest, was saying to his sister in law: when is your old man going to be gone and I will come over. She emplores the wife to "make him quit". The wife tells her husband to quit that sort of joke with her sister in law. BUT...it wasn't a joke. They were making plans under the wife's nose. I think this sort of thing could also apply towards things that are written or maybe even artwork.

  How my awakening began.

  about a month ago i started having a clear out of old clothes, books and bric a brac etc….. i don’t know what came over me but i decided to chuck out all my old jw literature because we literally have no more room.

  it started with magazines, then books, ministry literature and once i started, couldn’t stop.

  weird right?

  I find it interesting "the fog began to clear" after you discarded years of literature. I have heard that books of witchcraft have demons attached to them....whereas, I never considered WT literature to be witchcraft, it is supposed to be spiritual enlightenment. Well, it is obvious to many of us that God's spirit isn't behind the organization-so then, what spirit is? I have here the last JW Bible, but plan to throw it out. I would have already but it is the only printed Bible I have at this time in physical form. I don't feel good about reading it- which begs the question: is there a bad spirit attached to it? ....on another note, for years I never tossed anything printed by WT because it was what? sacred!! What fools they made of us all. So the thought occurs to me, maybe JW are under some sort of demonic spell and don't realize it. ( I know you atheist and those who don't have any regard for the Bible will scuff at my comment )

  just goes to show they knew all along they were over reaching and unduly force feeding the no beard theme. Now they are trying to cover their tracks and keep down any fallout by guilt tripping the brothers not to complain but go on supporting the org. I would love to see a massive walkout! Wouldn't that be a hoot it the pimo s could stage a walkout...all show up to the meeting and at schedule intermim, all walk out! Like at the end of the video when they play it. Double Dare those PIMO

  to save y’all the agony of having to sit & watch lett (looking even more puffy and jaundiced than the last time), here is a summary:.

  beards are now perfectly fine for anyone & everyone, including ministerial servants, elders, and “special full time servants” (cos and betheliites).. but don’t go and feel “vindicated” — even if you knew you were right about beards, you shouldn’t run ahead of jehovah’s “chariot”.. so there you go.. if you need explicit permission from a puffy steroid addled facial contortionist with an increasingly ridiculous combover to make personal grooming decisions…you might be in a cult .

  Bro. Sam can grow his beard back. Sam was a fellow who was studying, coming to meeting, eventually got baptized...but had to shave off his well groomed beard in order to get baptized. This story bears repeating for those who never read it. One cold snowy day, Sam called at a door and was surprised-he called the woman by her name and her response was, who are you? He told us this while eating lunch the same day. His ex wife ( woman at the door ) didn't recognise him without a beard and a beer.

  The whole video was one big "blowing smoke"...the ones with their heads in the sand won't see it. They literally put the finger on anyone who would dare to speak out as to vindication or feeling let down. They are trouble makers who don't speak in agreement. And did you notice, it is Jehovah who has now dignified the men to choose a beard or not--God Almighty never took that choice away to start with, but the organization did. GB are total hypocrites!

  he said Jehovah dignified them to make their own choice-what? Like God didn't dignify them all along and it was the GB who took it away? Here is something I noted: you aren't allowed to feel vindicated or let down by the new decision for that wouldn't be keeping up with the chariot and you wouldn't be speaking in agreement, therefore you would be going against the Bible. Good illustration of making ones feel guilty so as not only control their actions, but their thoughts.
