TonusOH , speaking of the witch hunt and cleaning out, they got rid of good men who were showing doubts and Ray Franz was trying to get them to correct some of their lies. How convenient, when the 1975 debacle fell through, that they kick Ray and others out and say they cleaned house of apostates. Then the r/f think it's a good thing, when really they were covering their lying tracks and Ray and others became the scape goat...that is how I see it.

Can you openly express doubts in the congregation these days?
by Elena ini know of a lovely old sister who has been a jw for several decades now who openly expresses doubts about jw interpretations.. she does it in such a lovely way and everyone loves her.
she is such a sweet old soul, makes everyone happy around her.. she has said things like- even if we have got it wrong about this and that i still believe the bible is gods word”.
she answers up regularly and she goes on ministry groups but like most of us she is definitely jwlite, we don’t really do door to door work anymore.

Elena, the elders were sent a letter for them to keep their mouths shut about the vaccines and to follow the GB direction. They aren't allowed to express doubts. Even if people do express doubts, the answer would be taking the vx was a personal choice. ( There is a complilation of updates on Youtube showing the coercion to take the poison -but they do mention "personal choice") I was saying the GB got it wrong during the lockdown, and an elder told someone who was my closest friend here to tell me to stop it or I may have to be taken to the "backroom". I didn't stop it. What did happen is I saw online the letter to elders telling them to keep their mouths shut. So I investigated more and came to realize the whole religion is founded on falsehood and false prophecy. I wrote myself out! But 3 men wanted to talk to me anyway. Here is the thing: They will want to know if you believe the GB are the faithful and discreet slave appointed by Jesus If you say yes and pledge obedience, you likely will be given a pep talk and be told to wait on Jehovah to work things out. If you can't honestly say that you believe the GB are appointed as faithful slave and you say it, well, kiss your friends and family goodbye. You wanted to know. Try it and see if you don't believe me.

The Reasoning Book
by Magnum inthe book reasoning from the scriptures was released in the 1980's, and it was used at virtually every meeting for service, every service meeting, and every theocratic ministry school meeting thereafter.
many jws had copies bound together with their bibles.
it was huge in jw land back then.. at that time, with the reasoning book, jws were trained to keep conversations going in spite of objections, to almost stick their feet in people's doors to keep conversations going, to defend "the truth," to argue doctrine, etc.. compare the situation today with that of the 80's.

Some other "friends" had a combo Bible made for us ( Bible, Reasoning Book, and Song book ) I would never have done it. I think the company doing the combining was "Stoops" or something like that. They did book bags, calendars, etc. I think there is a company called minstry Idez now doing the same sort of JW propaganda. Anyway, it looked like all the goody-goody JW wanted the Bible/reasoning book combo. ( and the other service equipment provided from those businesses set up just to take advantage of their fellow ministers ) I don't think I have a reasoning book here anymore...I threw out mostly everything save for the silver sword, which goes out soon.

How can Babylon the Great be the WORLD of false religion?
by BoogerMan in(revelation 17:5) “babylon the great, the mother of the prostitutes (plural!
) and of the disgusting things of the earth.”.
btg is spotlighted as being the principal "disgusting thing" which affects christians & christianity, with other lesser "prostitutes" in the background... (revelation 18:4) “get out of her, my people, (christians) if you do not want to share with her in her sins, and if you do not want to receive part of her plagues.".

If one accepts the Babylon the Great is false religion, the scripture says get out of her "my people"...thus showing his people would be scattered throughout these various false religions ( which includes JW ) and they are to get out of them ...and do what? might come to mind....Jeus told the Samaritan woman it wasn't a place ( not in Jerusalem or that mountain ) but the Father wanted to be worshipped in spirit and it truth. ( whiich you won't have in these false man made religious organizations. One has to be careful not to get out of a false religion just to go back into another( which is what many do) I have been invited by 3 different people to go to their churches (3 different ) but these established churches would be teaching what I am sure is false, so why bother?

For the Disillusioned
by no-zombie ina problem for all who come to realize that our faith is just another manmade religion, is that we start questioning everything we've previously believed.
where ultimately its possible to spiral down past believing in the bible, to the point of questioning god's actual existence.however while some may be happy to think of themselves now as atheists or agnostics (which i doubt that most really are, as living with the full mental and emotional consequences of being one is a lot harder than most understand), i don't think it is necessary to abandon being a spiritual person.
while others might like the idea of drifting into a modern animistic philosophy (which rather conveniently excludes personal accountability), the keeping of the core teachings of jesus has historically proven to give many people a balanced and practical moral code to live by.but what is meant by the term: 'the core teachings of jesus'?interestingly many thinkers from the enlightenment period of the late 1700s, had similar a question.

Christians are to be footstep followers of Jesus...but...it seems they want to be followers of imperfect men and when they see how bogus that turns out, they turn against Jesus instead of the blind guides that claimed to be leading them to Jesus. The Bible warned of wolves in sheep's clothing and blind guides....Pay attention and don't blame the savior if you have been fooled. The warning was before all of us.

Article: Jehovah’s Witnesses Release Digital Brochure to Mark World Holocaust Day
by Tahoe inas the world com- memorated the 97th international holocaust remembrance day (also known as world holocaust day or ihrd) yesterday, one of the groups targeted by the nazi regime, jehovah’s witnesses, has said it should not be lost on the world that they were among the first to be sent to the death camp.. accordingly, as conferences and exhibitions related to the 79th anniversary of the auschwitz liberation take place around the world, jehovah’s witnesses have released a 32-page digital brochure titled: “purple triangles – “forgotten victims” of the nazi regime”.
in a statement, the national spokesman of the witnesses in nigeria, mr. olusegun eroyemi said the group then referred to as bible students, suffered inhumane treatment at the auschwitz- birkenau concentration camp by the nazi regime “solely on the basis of their religious convictions.. “during its nearly five years of operation, auschwitz expanded to include a concentration camp, a forced-labor camp, and an extermination camp, as well as over 40 subcamps.
here, the nazi regime carried out some of the most agonizing human rights abuses against millions of jews, as well as poles, slavs, roman and sinti, homosexuals, and people with disabilities, among others.

What JW won't tell is that first Rutherford placated Hitler, claiming they had mutual goals and when Rutherford didn't get what he wanted from Hitler, he antagonized him, leading to the imprisonment and killing of JWs. ( you can about it here: https://jwfacts.com/watchtower/hitler-nazi.php )

JW profit from disasters
by enoughisenough insome time back i questioned about jw making money from doing relief work for disasters.
i found this story on reddit and also noted some of the replies.
it makes me wonder how many would have left their own jobs and paid their way, giving free labor and some supplying free materials if they had know what was going on behind the scenes.

blondie, from where I am sitting, they don't want that money ear-marked for relief so they can do as they please...then when there is a disaster, they still ask for more, more, more and volunteers for labor and supplies. total charlatans! They put out enough information about their efforts to keep r/f feeling good and not asking questions. I think most r/f would be appalled if they knew the extent of abuse of their donations and the fraud that plays out in the disaster relief.

Who are you trying to please? in you are not a criminal, why beat yourself up? If something is bothering your moral compass, clean it up. It's within your power.

Elena, do it...just please do it! Find out! Some in the congregation won't tell you, but will complain to the elders and you will be on the radar! I posted on my FB AGAINST the jabs and some of the "friends" were seeking the elders on me.
