Micah 6:8

i saw this in a video sometime back ( don't remember now ) but it caught my attention...micah 6:8 was changed in the "silver sword" ...they changed the words in that scripture from " to love kindness" or in some versions to "love mercy" or "love grace" or "love goodness" to nwt silver : " to cherish loyalty".

sometime afterward there would be articles about being loyal to the organization.

I had a thought as to why I think the words kind, kindness, mercy, etc is better than loyal love or in the case of Micah6:8 to cherish loyalty. Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good. And what is Jehovah requiring of you? Only to exercise justice, to cherish loyalty ( "love kindness ) and to walk in modestly with your God. The way I am thinking is this: if you exercise justice, that would be towards everyone. If you loved kindness, you would be kind to everyone; whereas if you cherished loyalty, it would stand to reason you are only loyal to those you know -I think we are to be kind to all. If you are to loyally love...then again you have to know those whom you loyally love because how can you be loyal to who you don't know? ( hope that made sense ) I found lots of articles on loyalty but not a specific one where It was particularly noted Micah 6:8 from the sivler sword. However I remember that was something that got my attention in the video I watched near a year ago.

Sometime afterward there would be articles about being loyal to the organization. Some of you may recall this. This is an example of changing the wording to fit the desired doctrine. I was in Bible hub and looked at the word that was translated "loyalty". You can click on that and see different places where the word was translated in other verses of the Bible and in different translations. I went through a long list to compare but not all ( from Gen. to Samuel ) Anyway, what was consistent in the translations was the wording like "show kindness" , "deal kindly" --along that vein of thought. So in comparing that to the NWT, the NWT consistently translated " loyal love", which showed they knew to use the word "Kindness" because before the "silver sword", they rendered that word Kindness at Micah 6:8.

simple question.

while the deuteronomists and later writers of the bible condemned the use of images of yahweh, they at the same time imagined him and described him in text as a man in the sky with bow and arrows or riding a chariot drawn by cherubs or sitting on a throne.

if the former is a dishonor, ought not the latter be as well?.

if you believe the Bible, the writers didn't imagine him, but were given visions which they wrote down what they saw...or they were inspired to write the descriptions. I can't think where I ever read they created items from the inspirations and bowed down to them...as they did in the case of false gods.

spoke with a JW friend who lives states away...she didn't know about Tony...It's like I wonder what he did! She also said that Jehovah cleaned out the organization once before and he would do it again. I did get around to telling her the ones who got cleaned out ( because I knew she was referring the Raymond Franz and others along about that time) were ones who were doing personal Bible study and found things that didn't go along with what was published in the WT, so they got the boot. I also told her about the elders going to be questioned in PA as to CSA and she was happy about that. ...all that being said the mental disconnect is in place.

Museums the new way to make money?

nowhere does the bible say that christians should engage to such activity but is it possible the watchtower is now making it a priority for :.

a. look like they have something to offer to the community.

Being embarrassed by a JW when you were a JW

i was out on the ministry(tm) in the 1980's when i was pie-on-earring.

i was only a lowly publisher(tm) being coached by a rather odd elder(tm).. one of the publications(tm) had recently mentioned japan and the growth(tm) of jws there.. the elder(tm), brother(tm) i was with offered the magazines(tm) to the householder(tm).. then he stated, 'there are (gave the reported numbers at the time.

i can't remember the number he stated), jehovah's witnesses(tm) in japan.'.

not my story but told to me. Some young men were in a car group together and they drove onto a property with no really good place to turn around. No one was home. So to facilitate a better turning maneuver, the driver pulled the car into an open garage. The floor to the garage was rotten wood! They were stuck there until the home owner arrived!

many moons ago when we were building a new hall, I thought it odd that they sold the old chairs to a church...( was that not supporting false religion) And so much for the dedication to Jehovah and pure worship for the new Halls, right? Hypocrites

they are still pushing shots, masks, and testing...wouldn't you think that if men are old enough and wise enough to "shepherd the flock", they would know be more wise as to what their body requires without the overlords mandating. I hope this wakes up some of the toothless lions...the organization cares not for them or their health.

Fully vaccinated

i have just heard about a rebellion starting for the kingdom ministry schools this year.

nobody is allowed to go unless you are fully vaccinated and the unvaccinated are not allowed to watch by video conferencing.. apparently there are many congratulations insisting on recently fully vaccinated meaning to those elders, you had your latest booster recently.

if it’s been more than six months you are no longer fully vaccinated.. i hear of lots of elders or mss who just do not want to keep taking these injections some haven’t had a booster in months and now they are not allowed to go to the upcoming kms.. that is not really what the letter said, it says all coordinators have to check that all elders are fully vaccinated.

about the speculation, Tony being gone because of the shots....I don't think so....he wasn't the only one on the monthly broadcasts that promoted that poison. As far as a U turn is concerned, they can't do that unless their Handlers ( not Jehovah or Jesus ) tell them to...and if my thinking (conspiracy ) is correct, those handlers are among the globalists who want depopulation. Call me crazy...I don't care...What other reason could there be for the GB to emotionally blackmail and coerce without let up the taking of the shots. The toothless lion elders should be in an uproar! ( if Tony was let go because of the shots, it would be because he was against them, IMO-and you don't go against the Body)
