Beth Sarim....they thought it correct and preached it by disseminating Media ....some have overlooked it when told Jesus isn't their mediator...they will say that he is or that Jesus died for them. If you bring up that the WT teaches for ex. what the questions from readers brought out, that is when you get the old publications or apostate card even though the teaching hasn't changed. You are correct in that it was never correct...so in some people's deep intellect, they know it isn't right...yet they cling to the org. They don't realize how stupid it all sounds.

I watched but was rather distracted at the same time and medical stuff isn't my thing...I am wondering about your take away... if I understood what I was watching, the vx caused a breakdown in the sequence ( skipping over an important part )of how one's body should be making antibodies to protect itself.

Funny how this "crackpot's" mind works but I had a thought about some videos about the GT that I think may be coming up in a study in July...( stand to be corrected ) Anyway, the thing that came to my mind was how they predict the GT is imminent (that's not really new ) and the governments would turn on God's people ( the JWs in particular )...so as my brain goes, when the officials start looking closer and closer at the CSA cases, then the witnesses will just feel like that is the fulfillment of prophecy, ( something like that ) so they will not pay attention to the real issue of CSA.

I provided the scriptures to support that Jesus is our mediator and also scriptures to support the New Covenant is about forgiveness of sins for the many. I got this response back: I know that Jesus has given up his life for us all. A 34 year old WT is not going to shake my faith that this is the organization that he and Jehovah are using today. ....
So it was like that older article with it's false teaching means nothing because it is older, even though they still teach the same lies. This thing of "new light" and the older magazines being irrelevante has really done a number on the heads of JWs.
I had another person tell me that the older magazines didn't count because apostates had at one time infiltrated the society and they had to be cleaned out. I find it all disgusting...so glad I am out!
