I was watching a video of a CO new talk...posted by Warwick Pimo on youtube. The speaker was saying there were 3 people who would NEVER lie to you-always tell you the truth : Jehovah, Jesus, and GB ( faithful slave ) ( uncouth, but insert gag!) The talk also mentioned the fine instruction during the pandemdic ( choke!) Some people are rattled and upset they found out ttatt, but I am thankful! I may have lost 50 years of "friends" but thankfully I recognize the mindgames the JW play. By the way, a couple fairly new youtube channels I like are BTTW ( beyond the things written ) and Warick Pimo . Warick Pimo also told in a video about the coercion of the Bethel family to take the jabs-like many in the world, they did it to save their jobs.( remember all those updates-ask "what Jehovah knows" and the WT study telling them Jesus directed them during the pandemic- LIES! ....it's a blood guilty organization! RUN!

My inclination is that they got him out of Bethel with as little scandal as possible, but will eventually DF him on some sort of ground. Think about it...it an anointed is "removed", that had to be pretty serious business. They trumped up an excuse to df Raymond Franz. I would almost pity him save for him thinking I am mentally diseased, filthy apostate enemy of God whom he wants dead. ( he's not our friend-YET-he could change.)

i have a few jw family members on facebook and being summertime, their pics of the convention have shown up in my fb feed.
along with their comments about "i wished it would never end" or "what a glorious weekend".

mixed bag....I did a lot of work in the food when they did that...I played in several dramas-that was fun. I was younger then. So I would say for the last 20 years, they were a burden...very tiring!

acts 13:12 "Jehovah" or the "Lord"
by enoughisenough inacts 13:12 nwt......at the teaching of "jehovah"....i was reading in acts and the apostles were teaching about jesus, and so when i saw the word "jehovah", it seemed out of context with the other context in acts.
( i think there may be some instances where the name jehovah may fit into acts--but the jury isn't in on that ) i went into bible gateway which lists how the verse is translated in other versions and the several others i read all translated "the lord" ( not all capitols so meaning jesus) which i think is more fitting with the context.
i really need to get another bible besides the nwt...i keep thinking i may end up with my dad's large print bible.

funny how you can see through their false teachings once you get out to the group think. They say " obey us" if you want to be saved and Psalms says not to trust any man for salvation. How did we not see this hocus pocus years before we did? That being said, There were things I never really believed but took as a matter as their conjecture-which should have made me question their claims of being God's channel ( I don't think I really ever believed that either-just went along with the group think, )

I don't think this labeling is in anyway kind or accurate. Are these ones really inferior people? Or are others just Proud! and like to pick on those who made other choices? Does having a good job and letters after your name make you superior? Maybe some didn't make the wisest career choices, but that doesn't make them ignorant. ( except to the wiles of the WT) I know of one JW who was in the cleaning business who invented a machine for cleaning and became a millionaire! Some of the smartest people I ever met were just good ole country boys who could take on just about any task before them. The men were one person mechanics, builders, plumbers, electricians, artist and could wash a window too! as well as give a public talk. I think ones would do well not to malign anyone based upon an honest, howbeit humble occupation.
