some more thoughts on the question as to blaming the GB. I was in 50 years. Things changed. The teaching was we were getting spiritually fed by the remnant of the 144,000 and Their GB...Then it flipped. The fds wasn't the remnant but then 8 men of the GB, I may have just forgotten, but it seems to me once it was determined the fds was the 8 men, that there was a power grab so to speak. YOU had to trust them, You had to obey them. Before it was a remnant scattered all over the earth that supposeablly God was channeling truth to ( in my way of thinking-God helping these spiritual ones to understand the Bible and they told the r and f.) ( not a word of that has proved true) While it true they always expected you to believe without question, we were given a face to 8 men who demanded adoration and respect. They are liken to the voice of Jesus. Because we have come to know the lies they teach ( foremost they have been appointed as fds) and the hate speech that comes from their mouths, others should see and hear it as well...they have to...they are enablers ...even if they are staying in for the sake of not being shunned, they are enablers of the abuse because others are influenced by peer pressure...they think if so and so is still in this and he/she is so spiritual and smart, it must be the truth and who am I to question---when the person they consider the good JW may be PIMO. The original question on this post is valdi.

I think many who become JW think they are being taught the truth from the Bible. Once they discern they have been fooled they get out. People who love justice and truth will eventually figure it out and leave. Is the GB to blame? The are the deceivers, the ones who say we are the ones interpreting the Bible correctly and don't question it or you will be punished--some couldn't take the punishment and have killed themselves. Some fear the punishment and keep their mouths shut and pretend to be good JW...So yes, the congregants are enablers of the abusive GB. -

According to WT 1990 3/15 page 14, para 21, Jesus examined religions and found a group of international Christian students publishing Bible truths for both inside the congregation and to the world and so appointed him the faithful and discreet slave in 1919. A point of interest in this article, the magazine isn't in a drop down dated box on the jw website. You have to search for it in a different way...why wouldn't they want that magazine easily found? Perhaps because of the title: The Faithful Slave and it Governing Body. ( they no longer teach the faithful slave has a governing body, but rather the 9 men who make up the governing body ARE the faithful and discreet slave. The question was how he did it...HE DIDN'T...I did read or see somewhere that some people started calling Russell the fds and so he attached that title to himself.

Why do JW apostates tend to be activists against the religion?
by Vanderhoven7 inj. arden writes.
first of all an apostate is literally just someone who left.
most jws are technically apostates from the religions they were raised in.

I think they hate the injustice of the whole think and need to voice it. We were made fools of. I think at the very top, they know they are liars and don't care.

Ecclesiastes 9:5 -"the dead know nothing at all"
by aqwsed12345 inthe narrator of the book of ecclesiastes had very little knowledge of many things that jesus and his apostles later preached.
the author does not make statements, but only wonders (thinks, observes, often raises questions, and leaves them open).
he looked at the world based on the law of moses and found nothing but vanity, as the earthly reward promised in the law did not always accompany good deeds and earthly punishment for evil deeds.

easyprompt...Matt 26:28 says plainly: for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.( new living Bible )////or this is My blood of the covenant, which is being poured out for many for forgiveness of sins (new american standard) JW mixed two different covenants so they can keep people in bondage to themselves.

easyprompt --you wrote only those in marrage with the lamb need to partake of emblems....I beg to differ. That is JW teaching ...You really need to compare the scriptures without JW filters on. Luke 22:20, Mark 14:22 and Matt 26:28 ...the new covenant wasn't about a covenant for only 144000 as JW teach... the new covenant is for forgiveness of sins for the MANY. Jesus disciples also already knew they were going to be part of a kingdom-they were arguing about which one of them would be the greatest.

If I were to narrow this subject down, I would say you either believe Satan's lie that you won't die, therefore you or a part of you goes on living consciously somewhere, or you believe that you return to dust, knowing nothing until the the last day when resurrected. Job 14:14 If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the day of my compulosry service until my relief comes. ( he didn't say if a man dies that is is really still alive) Dan12:2 And many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up....( are you conscious of what is going on around you when asleep.) Dan 12:13 ...you will rest, but you will stand up for you lot at the end of the days. Jesus also likened death to sleep. People will say of the dead, " rest in peace" or "they aren't suffering anymore" and at the same time say ,"mother is in heaven watching over me" ( can't be both )

person..., another thought I has as to the JW being in bed with the globalist is a magazine that came out a few months ( I will have to look it up ) before the lockdowns--it was pictured eveyone wearing masks ( which isn't normal but soon became they norm ) sort of like a sublimible message to the JWs in advance. They even stopped door-door before the official lockdowns like it was direction from God-a mind game I am thinking. They knew what the gov was about to do, but that mind game fools the r and f into thinking the GB really are getting direction from Jesus and looking after us. I see a few clips on youtube of JWs still bragging on the wonderful way they witnesses were protected by following the GB.
