  So the JW's should have slipped a 5 dollar or 10 dollar bill to the homeless guy. I hope everyone who gave that suggestion does that to each homeless guy you find on the road. All the best with that.

  What about the guy who clicked the photo? What help did he give to that homeless guy, other than clicking and tweeting that photo?

  It's utterly insane to derive anything from such a photo.

  What if they have tried helping him? or, What if they have already called for help?

  Do we expect them to carry him on their arms till help arrives? Most of the homeless people still sleep on the streets even after receiving help and we can't blame people standing or walking around homeless people for not helping them.

  What if someone clicks one of us with a homeless guy sleeping somewhere in the background?

  being born in to me was devastating.

  when you are a child born in and raised with the they vs us and they are evil and worldly and going to die.

  not allowed to form relationships with anyone not one of you.

  If I compare my life with my 6 other close friends (non-JW's), my life turned out 10 times better than them, despite my JW upbringing.

  My mother was a strict disciplinarian (even before becoming a JW) and that helped us to excel in everything we did. We didn't go to a university or dated girls but still did well in our business and in our marriage, mostly due to our parent's values. Even during adversities, they worked harder rather than blaming anyone. Guess that helped us a lot.

  My mom always taught us not to look back on lost opportunities. You never know if your life would have been worse if you have taken up that opportunity.

  Some JW's in my congregation didn't have a successful life and went from one dramatic situation to another and always had someone in the congregation to blame. But it was mostly due to their own habits and choices. They would have been that way no matter what religion they belonged to.

  However,

  If Anthony Morris is asked to leave Bethel tomorrow and he becomes an apostate, then the same crowd here will be sympathizing with him and bashing the WT for kicking a 65 year old man with his wife out of bethel for a small thing like purchasing Whiskey.

  i couldn't find a more recent posting about the invite, so i may be going over old ground.. at first i just looked thru it.

  but then on second look, i realized there was more going on than i thought.

  Nope. GB members or all bethelites do have money of their own. In CoC, Raymond Franz mentioned that while leaving Bethel he only had $600 with him. Whose money was that?
  

  And Morris entered Bethel at the age of 50 in 2002 after he raised his two sons. You really think he didn't have any money by the age of 50?
