It's a classic case of being careful what you wish for.
For decades, lot of ex-JW's ridiculed the WT as to how all the GB members are all 75+ year-old men without any real-world corporate experience. You got one now.
Also, looking at all the information out there, Jody Jedele doesn't seem to be the worldy big-shot corporate guy that people are assuming he his.
Regarding working in the US Bethel, he has more experience in US Bethel than other 5 GB members - Jeffrey Winder, Gage Fleegle, Mark Sanderson, Geoffrey Jackson and Anthony Morris. While Jody joined US Bethel in 1990, Jackson and Morris joined in 2002 and were appointed to the GB in 2005, Sanderson joined in 2000, others joined after that.
By my association with the LDC and some projects, he has been one of the big brains behind a lot of property decisions in the past decade. So in no way he is a new guy that suddenly came into the picture now.
