Only thing i have seen from back in the 90s are huge amount youngster from different congregation abandon watchtower. And no young people from territory coming in. The numbers they present every year must be fake.

Front row seats watching the collapse of watchtower
by Indoubtbigtime ini’m a pimo ministerial servant and i won’t fade because i want to keep my front row seats watching what happens next few years.. my predictions are that this current governing body will slowly die off and the current younger helpers will be the next gb.
they will eventually have new light that they were wrong about 1914 and the overlapping generations.. the new light will be something on the lines of the last days are now because of king of north king of south pushing each other etc etc.
they will do their very best to burry old literature and try to change the past trying to make it sound like they were right all along just as they have done for 150 years now.

WokenfromJWcult Yeah well according too watchtower teaching about 1914 and biblical generation 70-80 year's. it seems they finally got i right, but about 90 year's or more to late. Was Rutherford that turned watchtower into preaching cooperation. The damage was made long long time ago.

Somehow I think nobody read the memo!
by LostintheFog1999 ini came across an old notebook of mine when we were spring cleaning our attic space.. for some reason i had written down these two references from older wt magazines.. reading over the two of them now i can only think that elders didn't pay any attention to the message either at the time or since.

Hellothere
I think the more you spend time in a bunker with other JWs. The more you get tired of members behaviour. The judgement and self righteous. So if a JW came to bethel as a person that thought perfect place too build on agape. That person gonna sooner or later drop that and become as others in bethel. Happened to me when i started attending JW meetings and saw the infighting and childish behaviour. You adopt too surroundings with time and start too behave differently.

Hiddleswife Maeby if vaccin are as dangerous as some sources say. Members are already taking the poison watchtower told them too. This could end in a new Jim Jones scenario for sure. Typical ending for a cult.

Hellothere
Have you people heard about the internet?😊 Do a search on Google Jehovas witness. Most material is negative. Can not compare today with how it was in the 40s or 70 s for watchtower. It's mad Max scenario for watchtower this days. Don't matter how much they preach or do videos. People out in district gonna Google them as soon doors are closed. Yeah they probably can preach undisturbed somewhere out bush in Africa. But this cooperation is run on money. And let's face it not much donations are gonna come from poor countries

Are the statistics out yet?
by slimboyfat inisn’t it about time they released the report for the service year?
or have they stopped publishing it?
did they released selected figures at the annual meeting as they usually do, such as the memorial attendance or record number of pioneers?

7 Encouraging Trends of Global Christianity in 2022

As you serve in your local church, it can be easy to forget the global nature of Christianity. Even connections to missionaries or trips to other countries don’t fully display the magnitude of the modern-day church.
And if your church has plateaued or is even shrinking, you can be tempted to see the global church in a similar light. But the latest statistics from the Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary can give a better perspective on Christianity in 2022.
There are seven encouraging trends to note in the 2022 Status of Global Christianity report.
1. Religious faith is growing faster than the irreligious.
Particularly in the West, it can seem like secularism is growing and people are leaving the church and the faith. Globally, that is not the case at all.
While the number of all religious people is growing at a 1.27% rate, the growth rate of nonreligionists is less than half that—0.52%, well below the total population growth percentage. In particular, the number of atheists is almost stagnant, only growing 0.18% per year.
There are fewer atheists around the world today (147 million) than in 1970 (165 million), according to the 2022 Status of Global Christianity report.CLICK TO TWEETThere are fewer atheists around the world today (147 million) than in 1970 (165 million), and the Gordon-Conwell report expects the number to continue to decline into 2050.
2. Christianity continues to grow.
Not only is religion growing overall, but Christianity specifically is growing. With a 1.17% growth rate, almost 2.56 billion people will identify as a Christian by the middle of 2022. By 2050, that number is expected to top 3.33 billion.
Catholics remain the largest Christian group with almost 1.26 billion adherents, but the two fastest growing Christian groups around the world are evangelicals (1.8% growth rate) and charismatics (1.88%).
In 1900, less than 1 million people around the world identified as Pentecostal or charismatic Christians. By 2050, that number will top 1 billion, according to the 2022 Status of Global Christianity report.CLICK TO TWEETThe dramatic global growth for charismatic Christians is particularly noteworthy. In 1900, less than 1 million people around the world identified as Pentecostal or charismatic. By 2050, that number will top 1 billion. JWs are not the Christian group that's growing most.

getting round the territory slowly compared to before?
by Indoubtbigtime infrom what i know most territory maps in most congregations are being done much much slower than before.
my congregation is very very slow getting round the territory compared to before.
then pioneers will have hour requirement coming back in march but they are just not used to getting 3hrs a day 7 days a week.. many congregations used to get round all their territory every so often, now all congregations around north london where i am (yes i’m an ms involved with territory servants) are hardly getting around their territory at all.. of course letter writing was slow going but now back to first call hardly anyone is going out in person and those few that do don’t do that much.. even the elders who are supposed to take the lead don’t seem to come out much at all and when they do i know of more than one example of them only doing ten mins maybe a few houses then going for the obligatory coffee break.

Hellothere
Yeah saw very little JWs out door2door before covid. Compared to 20 years ago. Last 5 years they mostly been sitting around cards playing with their phones 😁 What i have actually seen visiting different countries are Mormons. Been approach by them several times being out and about. They are like JWs used to be in the 80s. I guess bible was right Proverbs 13:12
