nowwhat. Problem with having children is they dont become " real " JWs. They not gonna support or donate as a real believer. Its dead weight that gonna discourage other JWs. Opps maeby Watchtower is already having that situation in Western world.

Where is Tony?
by Athanasius inon february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.
a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

Thoughts on annual meeting “new light”
by FFGhost inso, i finally saw the annual meeting video part 2.. this is the one with the “new light” on who might survive armageddon, vs. those who do not.. in summary, for those of you fortunate enough not to have to sit through it, it’s something like this:.
old light: once the “great tribulation” starts, that’s it for non-jws.
the “door of the ark” is closed.

The new light is not interesting. You could point out the man that died with Jesus recieving last minute repentance. Times when Jerusalem was surrounded, but God allowed does that wanted too abandon city and be saved. That's last minute repentance also. The question is why they focus on this at annual meeting? Watchtower likes too drain out the follower's. Keep them occupied 24/7. Why would they change to a new no requirements last minute repentance message.

I remembers years ago watchtower magazine they said that most of does abandoning or getting df come back too org. That's straight lying. I don't trust GB in anything anymore. They told us everything was done with donations. Come too find out they get money from government.

Even with recent changes it’s a struggle to get people to attend
by hoser inthe kingdom hall is still empty.
even with amalgamation of 2 congregations.
the elders are handling the microphones and there was only one comment from zoom at the watchtower.

"And they talk to you like you're 6" They talk down to members like they are dumb 6 year old slaves 😁. Zero respect for members dignity.

2023 Yearly Report UNDER the Microscope
by raymond frantz inhttps://youtu.be/pi7sn2rnrke?si=lnvklqct6nuayv2q.
branches of jehovah’s witnesses: 85 (= down one from 86 from the previous year and quite possibly they are referring to the hong kong bethel that closed down recently).
number of lands reporting: 239 ( =the same as 2022).

Hellothere
I remember back in the 80s how everyone was looking forward too yearly report. Elders would go up too podium, all excited, and read the report. Rest of congregation could point out different numbers in report they thought interesting. Watchtower pointed to report saying it showed how blessed org was. I don't see any blessings in today's report. It's either same as other groups or worse. Where's the proof of blessings? They been moving forward in Africa. All groups doing that. Birthrate in some places in Africa is super high. Been told by African JWs that if father in family becomes a JW, rest of family must also. Either they believe teachings or not. It's a culture thing.

From what I'm reading in Reddit. People's experiences. Seems like most JW family's have either one pimo or pomo. Or more. I been thinking for years how many true belivers this religion has. I don't think they in the majority. Remove shunning DF policy and hell gonna break lose in JW land. They gonna have very few elders or ms too keep congregations going. -

When you google country's in list. Government statistics in surveys they make. Their population. It's totally different then what the watchtower report states. If they made mistakes in population in country's they make report of. Then what else can they have made mistakes on?

Recommend going in to Reddit and reading testimony from hundreds or thousands of young JWs that hate the religion. Only reason they still in is obligation from parents and shunning arrangement. Don't even know what this discussion is about. 2 billions hours preaching and 1% increase. It's ridiculous. Feel bad for young people feeling miserable just so watchtower can keep numbers afloat. Baptizing young people should be banned. -
Hellothere
Well we all know reason for numbers not plummeting last decade is DF arrangement and JWs having children. The interesting part is the increase of "anoited". Could it be lot's of people visiting halls memorial time don't have a grasp of JW teachings? Maeby even JWs that invite this people don't have knowledge about what org teaches. Or maeby it's ex JWs pranking organisation. Other possibility could be lots of jws having mental problems. Wouldn't doubt the stress and fear mongering watchtower does on it's members must take a toll on mental health. If so then there's a serious mental risk for anyone being a JW.
