  9 days to go until i hand my d'a letter in.

  its extremely short, as in one sentence long.

  i'm not giving them a reason coz i don't need to coz it's my life and my choice and i don't have to answer to the boe or gb.

  What I am going to say though, may be shocking to most here, since I
  have recently come to believe Jehovah's Witnesses are God's People, but have fallen into apostasy from God.

  I have come to this conclusion because of their recent involvement with the United Nations as NGOs, which is in direct violation of James 4:4.

  What was your trigger to waking up ?

  i wanted to ask everyone here , what was your trigger to waking up ?

  i have been waking up for a long time , but in looking back it’s hard for me to look at one event and say “ ah ha “ , i think mine is like a slow leak - like a crack in a damn - and then hold on , because after that it’s just a flood of information.

  Had my first Ooops! moments when Candace Conti went to the media in 2012.That was my first trigger on the slow path to TTATT. Things got serious in 2015 with that january Awake! evolution quote that needed rectification and discovering JWfacts and other websites. In that year Ooops! became WTH?? regarding 1799 as the beginning of the last days and 1914 being changed from the end into the beginning of a complete new era!

  ARC 2015 with Geoffrey Jackson lying through his teeth under oath really was a 100% WTF??? The final nail in the coffin so to say. In shock I decided to answer all the questions at JWsurvey 2015 and then realised I was mentally too far out to continue a JW life.

  this is my first post to this site, im pale.emperor's brother:).

  first of all, i've left being a jw in june.

  since then my family have tried to convince me it's "the truth" and force me to go back even though it's my own decision.

  much has been said about “fake news”.

  regarding the witnesses, they would always ask, “ did you hear the latest”?.

  since the witnesses claim to have the “truth”, can you express anything that turned out to be truly “fake news”?

  I experienced fake news regarding myself. During my fade there was this story that I was visiting meetings in another congregation in another town.

  The truth? I never did!

  Fake news might have helped my case anyway! lol

  "Wondrous expansion is now taking place!"

  so we have all heard the worldwide reports about khalls being sold off and congregations being amalgamated etc.... of course, jws are being told that these actions are a sign of "just how much the work is progressing, and how jehovah is blessing the increase and expansion!".

  i can share the following from my part of the world too!.

  in perth, western australia the following has occurred.. three "new" congregations have been formed!
