QFR - Posting JW publications on a personal website/social media

the following is a qfr from the april, 2018 watchtower.

just a couple of articles back the organization was explaining how jws need to be encouraging and even when admonishing congregations jesus would start out with encouraging words.

we see none of this in the qfr, rather, it is heavy handed and legally incorrect.. why is it not permissible to post publications of jehovah’s witnesses on a personal website or on social media?.

my recent sidewalk discussion with a couple of jw's has gotten me in the mood to say more when appropriate.so the wife and i were riding in the car and cat stevens comes on.

i mentioned to her that cat stevens left music when he was still popular and converted to islam back in the 1970's- how he was told that his music would have to be morally acceptable and he found it easier to just abandon making new music for at least 20 years.

so i didn't really remember all the details and i figured the conversation would die.

Why would you post here without first reading some of the other threads on the site. 2 minutes of skimming is all it would take to discover that this is no place for dedicated witnesses.

You nailed it Fred, my thoughts too! Some JW's appear to be very naive and are clearly not following the lord's command to be cautious as snakes...lol.

i've on my been on this forum for a few weeks but the more i'm learning the more ill its making me feel that i believed the wts.

my 12yr old today said i've made her miss out on having a normal childhood and i felt sick when she said it coz i know it's true.

i've been telling my dad today the things i've learned that wts had lied about and about the child abuse and he's disgusted too especially coz he's missed out on 12 years of being able to celebrate birthdays with us.

Ouch...I almost shed a tear jrjw. I've been there too and felt the urge to apologize. My oldest was almost 13 when we started our fade but believe me... things will get better. She's 16 now and happier than ever.

It's good to vent all the emotions that you can have during the process of awakening but please, don't blame yourself, blame the Borg. Accept the pain, others have felt it too, many tears have been shed. You all will soon learn to enjoy your freedom more and more...just give it time.

Wow Listener, thanks for showing the Borg's latest desperate attempt to turn the tide of criticism, exposure and awareness. We know this is nothing but damage control.

I can only imagine how "Apostate lies" and activity have become a recurrent and highly irritating theme on the agenda of the Governing Body. Isn't this a sign that all the activity is actually paying off?

We can trust these products to be free of advertisements or contamination by Satan’s world. If the spiritual food passes through other channels, there is no guarantee that it has not been altered or contaminated.—

OMG! Nooooooooooooooooooo.......the contamination is caused by the WT itself. They have altered their own publications and the whitewashing of their own history is so notorious...even the devil himself couldn't have done it better.

those who have been aware and informed have seen this coming.. of course it's just the beginning.

80 reports seems to be only the tip of the iceberg.

reclaimed voices is expecting hundreds of cases more.
