No, it doesn't prove Evolution.

Both chimps and human have the same designer, not the same common ancestry. Humans and animals are made of flesh from the same dust of the Earth by the same creator. This speaks to the efficiency of the Creator, differentiating humans simply by using his genetic toolkit to set man's gene expression to reflect "God's image" with divine attributes.

if you could teach me one thing to convince me not to believe what would it be?

for instance what has the wt taught about evolution/science or mans existence that is wrong and could possibly change skmeones mind?

and the more important question, why is it a creator couldnt allow for species to evolve?

We agree Einstein did not believe in a personal God e.g. a religious denomination with prayers, ritual, dogma, etc. What's important here is he was not like you, an atheist.

Einstein believed there is a transcendent God principle responsible the order in the universe:

Maintaining Faith In God As An Ex-JW

as i fade further from the jws, i'm finding it increasingly hard to maintain faith in god.

i've been exploring many alternatives from atheism, agnostic, apathetic, pagan, and satanism (not devil worship, but the promotion of self-indulgence) to name a few.

i'm thoroughly intrigued to learn how those of you who remained christian managed to maintain your faith in god and christ, especially after enduring all the lies that we've been told about them.

when i discover gaps in science, it's easy for me, as a temporary measure to fill in the gaps with god.

i do this until i have learnt something new.. what about you?

Believers in God, Christian thinkers (read the list) fascinated with HOW “God did it” (create nature and the universe), is the reason we have the "Age of "Enlightenment", also known as MODERN SCIENCE.

The greatest scientist ever, Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein, were fascinated and driven to know how “God did it” (create the magnificent universe).

Both were driven by belief in God.

Pagan thinker’s world view felt God is in nature, various aspect of nature represent various Gods (Pantheism). No need to explore or discover.

Christian thinker’s world view is, God is outside of nature. Christians innate curiosity compels them to explore (like the history of explorers), ‘let’s explore and discover God’s creation handiwork.'

Entire MODERN SCIENCE, “the scientific revolution…age of enlightenment”, came out of CHRISTIANITY's inquiring minds, thinkers.
