  i heard my hard out jw sister say that for the 1st time in many years and i'm hearing more and more jw's saying that.

  years ago when i was in they talked about the new system coming any minute..

  Jehovah God is Real

  there are many on this site that do not believe that jehovah truly exists; that he is not a real being.

  but, he is as real as next breath you draw into your nostrils.. some of you say that there is no evidence that he exists.

  yet, none of you can prove that he does not exits.. cofty, (you come to mind), i appreciate that you have stated, without reservation, that you do not believe that god exists.. yet, you cannot prove it.. hope in jehovah..

  As someone who reverted back to being a reformed Jew after years of studying with the JW's, I have come to learn there is no Jehovah. Your god is a false god created by man i.e. the Watchtower doctrines. My God Yahweh, however, is ever so real if not even more so than yours' is to you.

  Do a little research for yourself and it's not hard to see your god is a meer few hundred years old.

  And by the way:

  YHWH ≠ jehovah

  Also, if you so happen to mention you are talking on an apostate site, you will be immediately reprimanded and or disfellowshipped. Heaven forbid you talk to people that have their own 'opinions' and are willing to debate you for more than 15 seconds before walking away or actually stating something factual...

  As someone who reverted from the JW's back to being reformed Jew, I would align eating blood with say spiritualism i.e. trying to attract demons and if not in this context, then rather a disdain or a defiance against YHWH's law set for mankind to not eat blood.

  However, as far as blood transfusions go, I find no reason against it and no reason for it to be seen as any different than an organ transplant.

  That being said, I find the refusal of blood transfusions to be something detestable to YHWH and even in direct contradiction with the 'Commandment: Thou shall not murder'. The reason I would state this is because it would be found to be an act of suicide by the refuser and anyone insighting for such a thing to be guilty of murder just as anyone encouraging abortion is as well.

  This was 'one' of the major FLAGS I found when studying with the Jdubs. And I am happy to say I will accept a blood transfusion if it were to save my life and to help me further worship my Hod YHWH. 👌

  These one day convention make as much sense as pouring coffee in my ear. I mean really, gunna drive 3 hours there, spend 4-10 hours 'studying and listening', and drive 3 hours back.

  People are drones that are going to go down with the ship. Open your eyes people and speak your own opinion. The GB is only your god if you let them be.

  New Resolution?

  had our midweek meeting last night.

  they had a resolution to send an extra (i wanna say $1100 but i only remember it was at least $1000) per month to forward the kingdom preaching work etc.. you know how they work in the kh...no one votes against anything.

  i abstained as i almost have always done.

  hi guys.. "brother" jose is quite possibly the most sinister speaker i've ever seen or heard.

  and i've seen/head a lot of cults in my time.. he's over the top with his voice tone and gestures.

  Awkward exchange with my JW sister in law regarding the circle of life

  so we were at another family members home for a random celebration when the nature channel showed a killer whale eating a seal and my sister in law was horrified.

  we made a joke about the circle of life and i said something along the lines of 'everything that lives must die, the bible says every king must die, so even jesus wasn't immune'.

  after that comment there was an awkward silence with our jw family whispering to each other about my comment of dying.. once upon a time i asked my uber elder jw brother if he thought that he would not die and he asked me if i knew when god would start armageddon.
