this topic i digress about why the watchtower relaxing the rules of disfellowship is essential for its survival.
many things i'm going to say are not my ideas, some are, the point is, i'm condensing everything in a logical and concise way.. the first thing we have to keep in mind is that the wt's main objective in instituting disfellowship has always been not to lose members because of the damage that a dissident could do, or to avoid gaining new members because of the bad reputation of a confessed sinner in the his/her region.
in the end, the more active members, the more money to the coffers.. in this case of disfellowship due to apostasy, to avoid any spark, texts were sought out of context that even prohibited saying "hi".
It is absolutely the case that young ones just aren’t getting baptised in the numbers they used to. As the older ones die off the numbers will fall dramatically in years to come.
So many brought up in the truth just are not getting baptised. They don’t necessarily leave yet, there are people in their 20s who still come to meetings and even give assignments occasionally. They were brought up in the truth but didn’t get baptised.
They are too frightened to get baptised for fear of being shunned. But as long as not baptised then no shunned possibility even if they have sex or something, which most are doing let’s be honest.
Those teenagers who did get baptised really regret it now.
i’ve decided to disassociate from the jw organisation.
i cannot be part of a community that blatantly rejects the sacrifice of jesus in that demonic memorial ritual.
amazing what information you find when you start researching.. i’m writing my letter and posting it to the kingdom hall this morning.
I hope you don’t regret the decision not to fade instead.

i am not a bible translator not do i speak ancient greek or hebrew.. john 13: 35 nwt : 'by this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves '.. (curiously, this verse is not listed in the nwt index under the word 'disciples'.).
the biblehub interlinear reads : ' by this will know all that to me disciples you are if love you have among yourselves '.. could it actually mean, contrary to all bible translations, that it is jesus himself, and not people in general, who identifies his disciples because they show love among each other?.
I think on this regard JWs are by far the best in all the nations. JWs can go anywhere and find the nearest congregation and be love bombed and helped.
If a JW moves to anywhere else on the globe, the nearest congregation will get a letter and then they will be love bombed and if they need help they will be helped at a lot.
I don’t think any other organisation fulfills Jesus identifying mark of his true followers like JWs

Just had THE talk with my long time PIMI father, but did it in a gentle way. Basically talking about the AGM change that you can place your bets that JWs do not have the correct interpretation of the BIble and if it turns out they did then you can come in last minute.
He asked me do you believe that we have the correct interpretations of the Bible, and I answered no, but I’m not saying I have even better correct interpretations myself.
We then talked about the Bible and I said I still have faith in the Bible (not entirely true as I’m agnostic) but I wanted to do this gently as possible. I still have hope in the Buble but I don’t have faith in the JW interpretation for example 1914 I’m pretty sure in fact as certain as I could be that JWs are wrong. He even almost agreed with me that maybe the 1914 teaching is not quite right. I was absolutely gob smacked.

Its as if we are all being set up for a time when we don’t need to go to go to the hall at all.

Hoser you clearly do not yet understand the monetary cycles that have repeated through history. This is nothing new it’s the same cycles repeating. Going from money which are gold and silver, over to currency which is anything else used as a medium of exchange. When you are in the currency part of the cycle you can reap all the benefits of an unbacked unlimited system. There is no limit to how many units of currency can be added to the supply so nobody loses anything until the cycle repeats as normal

First you have to understand the “new international monetary system” that the entire world went onto on August 15th 1971. We were told this would be temporary but the world is still on this system over half a century later.
Before that currency was backed by monetary precious metals and it was an honest system. After 71 it was a dishonest unbacked, unlimited system again. It’s the exact same monetary cycle that repeats all through history.
So after 71 the world could reap all the benefits of an unbacked, unlimited dishonest system. Until the cycle repeats and the world goes back to honest money again- gold and silver.
But until that happens the educated can reap all the benefits of this temporary unbacked, unlimited currency system. You are actually helping along the demise of this dishonest system by stopping to pay council tax and utilities..

there is a large group of people who stopped paying council tax and utilities bills they ignored the invitation to go to court then nothing seems to happen.
