My decision.

i’ve decided to disassociate from the jw organisation.

i cannot be part of a community that blatantly rejects the sacrifice of jesus in that demonic memorial ritual.

amazing what information you find when you start researching.. i’m writing my letter and posting it to the kingdom hall this morning.

This is the most important point. If someone hasn’t been in long and maybe don’t have many family or friends who are in then by all means decide to be shunned.

I suspect not many fit into this category and most will have friends or family who are still in that they would find it hard to be shunned by. If not now then I’m the future.

Why have this huge disadvantage of being shunned by every JW on earth when you don’t have to.

someone asked me recently when did i start to have doubts as an elder about what i was teaching from the platform.. i have given it a lot of thought and i can say that it was when i was delivering a public talk about the book of hebrews.

so i paused and read it again.. i looked at the audience and said to them let's look at the cross-reference for this verse which is hebrews 12:22 and i read that verse.

after which i remember saying "and this is how the outline puts it.... " and i read from the outline verbatim.. abraham was not looking forward to an earthly kingdom hope.

JWs are the only ones who think Michael is Jesus, their reasoning is only that “who else could be powerful enough to battle with Satan and his demons and throw them out of heaven.”

The entire 1914 doctrine is wrong, this battle didn’t happen in 1914 and why is it only Jesus who could battle with Satan and his demons? Surely God could empower one of his archangels to do the job?

hi another kingsom hall is up for sale if you look in the rightmove property website and look for bradford in the uk you will see that its priced at £170,000.. but why should they need to be selling a kingdom hall off espically when they are not printing about 50 million magazines a month they vant be that short of money can they ?

How would this situation come about? After MTS he got found out about his not being able to control his penis, which he admitted to even after he married. That the branch were involved is also known, this doesn’t happen often only in special cases do they send someone from the branch.

So he starts his apostasy journey and kept in touch with someone from the branch. They plan him to be controlled opposition?

He particularly attacked Tony, perhaps someone wanted Tony gone for a long time. Lloyd even was given the number to get through to Tony by someone in the branch and he recorded a phone call to Tony.

Lloyd often said there is No mansion connection to JWs anymore even though it’s a fact there was for many years at the start.

Yes even if Lloyd didn’t know maybe he was controlled opposition to an extent,

even if not all the top dogs knew about it

Why disfellowship must be eliminated for the survival of the WT itself

this topic i digress about why the watchtower relaxing the rules of disfellowship is essential for its survival.

many things i'm going to say are not my ideas, some are, the point is, i'm condensing everything in a logical and concise way.. the first thing we have to keep in mind is that the wt's main objective in instituting disfellowship has always been not to lose members because of the damage that a dissident could do, or to avoid gaining new members because of the bad reputation of a confessed sinner in the his/her region.

in the end, the more active members, the more money to the coffers.. in this case of disfellowship due to apostasy, to avoid any spark, texts were sought out of context that even prohibited saying "hi".

It is absolutely the case that young ones just aren’t getting baptised in the numbers they used to. As the older ones die off the numbers will fall dramatically in years to come.

So many brought up in the truth just are not getting baptised. They don’t necessarily leave yet, there are people in their 20s who still come to meetings and even give assignments occasionally. They were brought up in the truth but didn’t get baptised.

They are too frightened to get baptised for fear of being shunned. But as long as not baptised then no shunned possibility even if they have sex or something, which most are doing let’s be honest.

Those teenagers who did get baptised really regret it now.

I hope you don’t regret the decision not to fade instead.

This thread can be a good lesson for others in the future.

Will there be situations in your future where you wish you were not shunned by some of your nicer family and friends who are still in?

John 13:35 Mistranslated?

i am not a bible translator not do i speak ancient greek or hebrew.. john 13: 35 nwt : 'by this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves '.. (curiously, this verse is not listed in the nwt index under the word 'disciples'.).

the biblehub interlinear reads : ' by this will know all that to me disciples you are if love you have among yourselves '.. could it actually mean, contrary to all bible translations, that it is jesus himself, and not people in general, who identifies his disciples because they show love among each other?.

I think on this regard JWs are by far the best in all the nations. JWs can go anywhere and find the nearest congregation and be love bombed and helped.

If a JW moves to anywhere else on the globe, the nearest congregation will get a letter and then they will be love bombed and if they need help they will be helped at a lot.

I don’t think any other organisation fulfills Jesus identifying mark of his true followers like JWs

Just had THE talk with my long time PIMI father, but did it in a gentle way. Basically talking about the AGM change that you can place your bets that JWs do not have the correct interpretation of the BIble and if it turns out they did then you can come in last minute.

He asked me do you believe that we have the correct interpretations of the Bible, and I answered no, but I’m not saying I have even better correct interpretations myself.

We then talked about the Bible and I said I still have faith in the Bible (not entirely true as I’m agnostic) but I wanted to do this gently as possible. I still have hope in the Buble but I don’t have faith in the JW interpretation for example 1914 I’m pretty sure in fact as certain as I could be that JWs are wrong. He even almost agreed with me that maybe the 1914 teaching is not quite right. I was absolutely gob smacked.

anyway that is the start of him realising I’m PIMA

congregation publishers can install new world publisher on their mobile devices and be more united and connected with their congregation.. cartsmart was built to streamline the way we schedule our public witnessing shifts.

Ours shows everything even the material to be covered, just what is in the workbook.

All letters announcements and everything going on in the congregation is there.

Its as if we are all being set up for a time when we don’t need to go to go to the hall at all.
