Well I do know that what goes in LA would almost be a DFing offense in Kansas. Just using that to make a point. But I knew people on the west coast who would throw kegger parties and in the Midwest that would get you at the very min a good talking to and don't do it again. But the GB Morris said "if you just stick to the JW.ORG you will not go wrong. " So he did not say don't or you can't but that you should not really be going on other sites. I am sure they are not against Amazon or Walmart ect shopping or looking up poison control ect. but social media and for sure anything even remotely anti JW and then you have all the really really watch your videos and movies and other things that can be "bad"

So I picked up a 1969 bound Vol set of Awake and Tower for 9 bucks. Cheap. The Away has some strange articles in it about the end being so close the graduating kids will never need to worry about retirement ect. And what is happening to motion pictures. I never thought these would be worth having but the borg has gotten so far away from its origins over the years many younger ones would not believe what they even taught.

Before I left the Org. There was a fake check you could print form Silent lambs. Can't remember what it said exactly but I put a few of those in the CB. at the assembly hall so no one would know who it was. The KH was too small and it could be figured out.

Fifty years ago today: One quote to demolish the Watchtower
by JeffT ini did not have any connection to jw's when they published this, about two weeks before i graduated from high school.
i'm now on medicare and collecting social security.
so much for their ability to see into the future.

It amazes me how many [all] predictions the borg has put out that have never come to be and the rank and file still follow. I asked an elder who I was friends with once what it would take for him to say this is not the truth and leave. He said the org would have to change a core belief. Well they have but the R&F just turn a blind eye. Maybe with the advent of the internet and social media it will stop new ones from joining.

Not a JW. He is one of those who was maybe raised in the religion and faded out but still buy the propaganda. Playing a hoodrat is not something any congregation would tolerate unless the religion is loosing its grip on the inner city. Also the music is crap. Rap and hiphop is not music. Its what happens when you have no talent.

Good lord, you should see some of the posts from the loony cat ladies over on that pro-JW site.
Not only are animals (especially cats) never going to die, but their particular favorite cats are going to be resurrected (I sheep-dip you not).
Long before the 1000 year mark, we're going to be knee deep in cockroaches, rabbits, sheep, and cats.
There won't be any room to grow food, what with a population density of 25,000+ mammals per acre.
I am a Cat person. Crazy has nothing to do with cats or dogs its just crazy. If they are JWs and think their religion backs the idea that animals will live forever or some species they are loony but then again being a JW is loony.

I can remember the WTS saying that the animals died in Eden when Adam and Eve were perfect and that they knew what death was from having watched animals die. If animals died then, then animals would die in the sc-called new Eden.
*** w55 9/1 p. 538 par. 47 Part 1—What Do the Scriptures Say About "Survival After Death"? ***In this respect, mankind, because of the condemnation to death that they inherited from Adam, are like the lower animals that die, not because animals are condemned to die for sin, but because their Creator did not decree that they should live forever
*** g 10/07 p. 28 What Happens at Death? ***GOD’S human sons were not meant to die. (Romans 8:20, 21) In fact, when Jehovah first spoke of death to Adam, it was mentioned, not as the outcome that man should normally expect, but as the punishment for disobedience to God. (Genesis 2:17) Adam understood what death meant, since he would have seen animals die.
Where in The bible does it say one thing about animals dying or not dying in Eden?

I think what it comes down to is the same reasoning as Mothers and fathers day. They don't want people focusing on the individual. When you focus on the individual you don't focus on the religion.
